And I think you will be very disappointed if you are looking forward to when WE and AT will be on the court at the same time. No way will that ever happen. What has JL ever done to make you think that would even be a remote possibility?
I'm hoping that we can move WE to the 4 by bringing in a real 5 from somewhere and it does not have to be a JUCO. There are some quality 5s that come in from HS these days. AT will be a very quality option off the bench next year IMO. Another year will do him really good.

SM was hurt! EM plays better D! SM plays a mean 2 position! EM started at the 1 last year and did well! Do you need some more?

Em has never played the point as good as Sammy. Em has never taken over games and been a leader like a point gaurd has to.

Really? You are basically asking people to criticize sammy.

Look, Sam M started the season injured. He played poorly, which now appears to be due to injury (SIu loss, for example). EM is quicker and a better defender IMO.

As of late, there is no question that Sam M deserves his starting spot. For the non-con and early conference season, I don't think that was the case.

This bashing EM in order to praise SM is lame. Sm has been phenomenal for about the last month. I hope he finishes this season that way, and plays all next season that way. As a lifetime BU fan, nothing would make me happier, and it would be great for the team. I think he's a good young man, i like his attitude and his grit. I am not trying to rip on him at all.

But early in the season, EM played better overall.

There's more to being a good basketball player, and point guard especially, than scoring.

Here is an interesting comment FROM THE EVANSVILLE MESSAGE BOARD
                by an Aces fan.........
"colt really had a poor shooting game 2-14 6 points in the first 36 min he
scored 11 in the last 4 min when we were down 25 and they had their subs
in. I know don;'t tell me he did alot of other thing which you guys see is why
he plays 36 min. why do we have starters in down 25 with 4 min too go and
start pressing other than too pad their stats? I still don't understand
what is going on here ."

so even the Evansville fans saw it...

He must of read a post here before posting there and got the "pad stats" thing. Because even he admits he does not understand anything whats going on Maybe he is one of those phantom posters like we have here Sounds like he has a Colt hangup

Maybe it was not a pad stat thing, maybe it was the coachs way to send his starters a message by leaving their butts on the court during a good old butt whipping Been done/used many, many times before by coach's
Even if it was a stat thing, SO WHAT We Won We have more to worry about than their stats

ha, ha.....but the very first post on our board that says this is Da Coach's post after midnight that would have been at 1:35AM in Evansville.

The Evansville poster put his opinion on the board at 11:53PM almost two hours earlier...

so it is clear it comes from an Evansville fan who is posting his unbiased thoughts that appear to agree with some of our posters.
As I said, nobody is required to agree, but then, those who do disagree said things like..
Where the hell is this coming from

Get Real! Your opinion on this one DC, well I am not going to lower myself!
plus a few more comments that have since been deleted because they were even more vitriolic!

Really I don't see why we care so much about that, but for arguements sake I don't see what's wrong with letting a freshman try to work out of a slump. Who cares if he's padding his stats or not? DSE was in at the end of the game, CR was in until about two minutes to go. The announcers did comment on how they agreed with Marty leaving him in there to figure things out and not just letting him take the easy way out.

OK I get it now, so your saying it started there and its a smart/good follow up thing to concern ourselves with I really don't care what they post about there or how they feel about their coach's call This guy posts that their starting line was still on the floor at the end and this is a different take from what was posted here

I still say get real Theres no need or gain by kicking a program that is down and especially after we just put the hurt on them on their home floor!

They didn't break any rules! WHY is it such/any concern here? Why try to make it a sin. Why kick at a team and coach that just got their butts kicked and are having a bad year:: Why not take the win and look to what we have to worry about coming up You know what goes around comes around.
T, you put out and get away with a lot of negative BS. Someone should delete some of your more vitriolic BS Delete All You Want As I think it was intended and a not needed attack. If it was at us you would be singing a different song
I am just a bad guy

I don't have a problem with them leaving Colt in the game. In fact, listening to Snell on the radio, Snell was glad we were pulling our guys when we did but Buescher was not happy and he thought it was too early to be pulling our guys even if we were up 25.
