The record for the largest attendance to ever see an NCAA basketball game in an ON-CAMPUS arena has already been broken,
even though the game isn't going to be played until February 27!!
The upcoming game between #2 ranked Villanova and #3 ranked Syracuse (2/27/10) is already a complete sellout and 34,616 tickets have been sold.
The old record also was set against Villanova, when 33,633 turned out on March 5, 2006 at Syracuse's Carrier Dome.
