We are a relatively young team. We use 2 seniors. However the one senior we lost for most of the season with a broken wrist, and we have played much better (4-1) his return a couple weeks ago. We are a bipolar team though so you never know which will show up from us. I know you guys seem to be looking at the inferior tournaments, I honestly still think DU has a shot at an NIT berth assuming we don't tank it down the stretch in conference. As I said, I am very happy that we drew you instead of some of the other options that were out there. Maybe if both teams play well heading into it we will both have top 100 rpi's.

Probably a bunch of baldy's down there. They recruit guys balding or are likely to be bald. Levels the "playing field" for them when trying to pick up babes. No chrome-dome complexes to worry about.

I can see their slogan now...

Sounds like a similar situation to us in terms of being bipolar. I'm not upset with the matchup at all, and I think with what I have heard about your team being young and having potential for the future from others that this could be a very good return game as both teams will be much better in a year or 2.

If it were next year I'd agree, but who knows what the future will say. We lose an important senior big man this year, have one coming in who is supposed to be good but can't count on freshman bigs. And as you would find in any report on us we are led by our pg who is a junior, so in 2 years he will have graduated. At this point I do not think we have his replacement but 2 years from now is a long way. However I would agree from the surface the return matchup should be really appealing to both sides.

I would consider having 7-8 guys playing significant minutes pretty deep. You can't have 10 guys play a lot of minutes - there aren't enough minutes.

Drexel will be a good return game for the Braves -- most of their major contributors are underclassmen.

You can contribute without playing a lot of minutes. The 10th player for us usually sees time but it really depends on foul troubles. We have been much more disciplined than early in the year, but we will still likely have 2 bigs with 2 fouls by halftime.

not that RPI matters much any more for most of the Valley...but...

Western Michigan lost again last night to Miami (OH) and so now they've dropped 5 of 8, not good news for SIU...

UIC goes down again - their NINTH consecutive loss, but I think nobody at Evansville really cares...

CSU-Northridge did win - a little help for Drake...

For those of you who care DU won again today 73-60 over george mason. We are tied in 4th in the caa 1 game from 2nd (ODU and GMU). DU is playing well right now, which is nice for us and you guys I suppose too. We are putting ourselves in a great chance for the 3rd seed in our tournament, since we have a very easy schedule remaining and should only lose no more than one in conference. Yes I know the game is seemingly meaningless but should still be a good one in 2 weeks.

Drexel keeps winning, 8 of their last 11, but they play in front of only 800 home fans!!!
They also only have ONE 3-pt shooter above 30%!!

800 was impressive as we were buried in over 26'' of snow. Also yes we are not a great shooting team, but we have 2 that will likely give you issues in harris and fouch. Colds thinks he is better than he is, and thomas is working on his shot, both are much better slashers though. However, we have shown zero consistency on the road this year so all bets are off. We shoot very well at home though...

Edit: also I have no idea how they came up with 800 since the game was free to everyone and no tickets were scanned. It seems probably a decent estimate but have no idea how they randomly came up with it

Myself, guys with BRADLEY on their white uniforms, and a silvered haired guy in a suit, will not consider this game "meaningless."

I agree it is not meaningless as both squads are trying at this point to build a resume for hopefully the NIT, assuming neither of us win our conference tournament. But it is meaningless as far as the actual season and conference games go. No game is meaningless, but most of the bb games seem to have little to no purpose behind them outside of say the top 3 games each year where those teams can build a resume.

                            Drexel's RPI now at 95!

Definitely seems like a good draw considering how Bradley played before the pairings were made.

Drexel looks pretty solid - they may not shoot the lights out, but it seems they find ways to win.

I'm really looking forward to a resume booster in '11-12 in Philly.

And Drexel is definitely quality given what we could've had. They must've gotten the memo from last year and Loyola.

                                Is Bradley Fans nationally known???

Nice to see a Drexel fan....is this a first for Drexel?

We need a sticky where people from opposing teams can leave a message so we can see where everyone non-BU comes from.
