Andrew Warren has NEVER had an 0-fer this season, and hasn't had one since the first month of 2008 - more than two years ago...!!
Osiris didn't make a single attempt last night and this isn't totally unusual...
given he's a prolific shooter you'd think it rare that he goes for the collar...but...
Osiris has had 0-fer's in each of his past two seasons and plenty back when he was a frosh...
Andrew may not the the unbridled gunner that OE is but Andrew has had only that ONE 0-fer since his freshman season 2006-2007.

Eldridge shot worse than Chris Dudley, but then couldn't have guarded Janks mother either...
as Harry Marshall had his way all night...
In fact, of Osiris Edlridge's five fouls, one was a charging call late in the game when a basket would have gotten them to within 2 points and a basket and a foul would have made it a one point game!
....so this was a very crucial turnover and foul and gave Osiris four fouls, setting the stage for the final collapse...
Then the other four fouls were all committed trying to guard Marshall (who is 3" shorter than Osiris), and those four fouls
led to seven made free throws and a total of 9 of Marshall's points!
There has got to be more to this story. After 3 1/2 years as a "star" player, "he's just pressing" doesn't cut it.

He 0-7 from the field, and he took some low-percentage shots. He defended Harry Marshall the entire game, and Marshall had a big game for Indiana State with 18 points, and 10-11 from the free throw line. Osiris fouled out in the last minute of the game. Odiakosa had another big game with 21 points and 9 rebounds, but nobody else for Illinois State did much. So both teams now join the logjam at 6-6."We're sitting here, and I'm supposed to be the franchise player, and we're talking about practice. I mean listen, we're sitting here talking about practice, not a game, not a game, not a game, but we're talking about practice"

Which is stranger, ISU at 6-6 or BU at 6-6 so far in the season?
Looking at the YTD stats of AW, SM, TB, WE and DSE, I would have to say BU at 6-6 so far.
Most thought ISU was over rated at the start of the season and BU under rated.BUilding for the Future

I expect him to be better conditioned going into his senior year. He is not as explosive and that is the difference.

I think Warren is the better shooter. The question is on the defensive side of the ball, as OE turns guys over a lot and is considered (and rightfully so, I think) to be the stouter defender. I never quite know how to evaluate Warren's D. He's definitely long and sometimes creates huge problems for people... He also rebounds better than OE. They both seem prone to bad decisions at times, but I think OE is the better ballhandler. Speaking of decisions, though, AW is takes infinitely better shots than Osiris in my opinion. Every once in a while, when BU is trying to score, I wish I'd see AW take a couple of crazy shots though... I like both players a lot, and I think it's closer to a push than a lot of people would say-- OE's been NBA bound since HS afterall, while Warren was not a huge a prospect.

Warren is a fairly one dimensional player right now...He is nowhere near the athlete that Eldridge is, so his upside is fairly limited.
He can be a great shooter when he has space, and that is a very valuable skill...but he is not athletic enough to create his own shot on a consistent basis, and he is not strong at all with the ball whenever there is contact on offense.
Put him on a wing and have him there to finish some drive-and-kick offensive sets, and he can excel...but run him into the lane and have him try to score in traffic, and bad things seem to happen more often than not...
