  • BracketBuster opponent Drexel wins by 42

Drexel beat Towson State tonight 97-55-
    http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketb...d=201002020172

Towson is the last place team in the 12-team Colonial Athletic Association, and they are bad. Drexel dominated them from start to finish for a 42 point win. Drexel shot very well, .486 overall (35-72), and .500 from three (12-24). Reserve guard Chris Fouch scored 29 points.
Drexel's record is now 13-11, 8-4, to move into sole possession of 4th place in the CAA.

It will be interesting to see if Drexel keeps winning. They could be a great opponent for us by the time we play them.

That CAA has quite the year going for them! They may only get one NCAA Tournament bid, or very well two, but regardless they will probably have three or four teams in the NIT.

Wow! 97 pts and only 2 guys in double figures. That is distribution.
To bad Cubbie Bear will miss a great game, while folding his socks.

We probably got the best draw out of all the Valley teams not on T.V.
I LOVE Bracketbusters weekend! Wish the Braves were on too - should be an exciting game - Drexel will likely be a CBI team, so we can getting an early test before the REAL CBI starts!!!
And yes - I want to know where I can order my CBI T-shirt.

Drexel will be a good game for us, still trying to figure out how Mo.St. got a tv. game , I guess playing an easier schedule with a lot of home games does help out some of the time.

This will be my first opportunity since Southern Miss a few years ago to see BU in person.

Anyone have any idea game time... and if anyone has lower level seats they can not use, I am very willing to buy 2.

My guess is Drexel and their fans are hoping BU wins a few more before Bracket Buster so BU would be a good game for THEM.

              Lets not overlook them.

This was an entertaining game for us last night, since we tend to be offensively inept. Lucky for us towson plays no defense. We had a great chance last night for 100, which would have gotten all the fans free cheesesteaks, but should be a good game between squads later this month.

Ah my mouth waters for a Philly Cheese Steak, or a good Hoagie.
Are you coming here Dan? We welcome your insights .
We can be very good or we can look inept.
Also, we need to skip the first 5 minutes of the second half. We have been letting teams back in during that time period.
                  Should be a good game!

If you want tix, Why not PR Cubbie Bear, I do not know where he sits, but he will be doing something with his socks, rather than going to the game.

I am not, as I am still a student, but others from our boards will be making the trek. For a small fanbase we are civil and a bunch travel to a ton of games even across the country.

To put in perspective of our inept offense, last nights 97 points was the highest point total since breaking 100 in 2002. We get excited when we break 70 in a game, due to being a defensive team first. We have a ton of talent, but we don't put it together consistently. We force teams to play our style and I warn you it is not pretty. I hope you enjoy watching paint dry, because that is the pace this game will be played at. We recruit out of new york and the players like to run, but we dont because our coach doesn't like that style game. It will be a halfcourt physical style game.

OK this game will be ugly. We like to think of ourselves as a run and gun but watching paint dry has been the norm lately. Since neither team is playing like Rembrandt, let's hope someone can score 60!

Usually, no lie, that is what we shoot for and that tends to be good enough for the W. It is typical for games to be in the low to mid 50's for both teams...sometimes not even breaking 50 gets the win. I am just giving you fair warning on the brutality of our offense. It takes very special teams to force the pace out of our style too. It very well could be another 7 years before hitting 90 again.
