Yeah, MI. State is in some serious trouble now. He couldn't put any weight on it while being helped off the court. Technically, they are just playing for a NCAA seed right now and have a 2 game cushion for 1st in the Big 10, so he can be afforded a few weeks off if not longer. He might not be in game shape by the Tourney if he's able to come back this season though.

this could really open the door in the Big X....Illinois needs to pick up the win on saturday (of course only to help BU's RPI) ....but beating them w/o Lucas won't be as satisfying...if he is out.

Michigan State's Kalin Lucas' injury is being described-

It's hard to tell if Kalin Lucas will play Saturday at Illinois after what he described as a "high ankle sprain" he suffered in Tuesday's loss at Wisconsin.
