ps-- actually it was me who "discovered" Dyricus and passed the info on the the people who mattered...)

Absolutely! If we had 10 SM's & DSE's we would win the Valley. Of course its always nice to have a 6' 10" 260 lb. guy with " heart and hustle."
    IE: Villanova, #3 goes small.
With Hummel out Purdue is going to go 4 guards.
When I first saw DSE, here was a high school Junior with a Division 1 body who gave 110% every possesion, O or D .I wanted him at Bradley.
I am sure had you been in The Dallas airport talking to Chris, on his way to meet with Les and Brooks, you would have targeted him first also
You probably beat me on Danny Adams also. Who if he had not hurt his knee in High School, I honestly believe would have been better than Zobrist. He was bigger and quicker.
Heart, Hustle, and team synergy are assets any team needs to have success.l
While DSE has ALL 3 qualities, I am not sure the guy he replaces has ANY of these qualities.

Dogs, you know I cannot denigrate any of our fine Bradley players on this site. However, the young man who DSE replaces in our starting lineups favorite song must be Toby Keiths, I wanna talk about me."
Tons of ability but heart, hustle, and team synergy, not so much..

And to think, many on these forums thought that Dyricus wasn't "Bradley material" throwing out plenty of excuses... Well I'm glad the BU community has embraced him because I know there is no place he'd rather be than playing for his hometown fans. Here's to DSE continuing to get better every game, and also BU making a deep run in StL.

OK...sorry I was thinking of a Senior when you said replacing as in he's leaving and DSE was his heir apparent.

I think the guy you speak of does show heart and desire just not all the time and maybe lacks a bit of focus. Instaed of focusing on the task at hand his head might be filled with outside thoughts.

I THINK this can be remedied. I HOPE some of the messages are sinking in. He's got alot of talent.

It's ok to make press clippings & ok to read those press clippings. The problems begin when you start to believe everything said about you, think you've achieved something and take your focus from working hard to sitting on you laurels. IMO Anything can be remedied.

Agreed...thats why I never read any of MY clippings....wait...nevermind. Any "clippings" I got were of the kind that needed "remedied."
