It's looking more and more likely that if UNI wins the season and the Tourney, then it will be just UNI in the big dance and WSU likely to the NIT. But if UNI wins season and WSU takes the Tourney then it's very possible that the Valley doesn't get a team in the NIT, unless someone goes on a 5 or 6 game run to finish the season. Unless UNI takes season and a 3rd or less team takes the Tourney, then 2nd would likely get NIT.

That's the thing. As long as UNI doesn't tank down the stretch they are in the big dance. Wichita needs to win the tournament to make sure they get in, but if they finish the season strong and make it to the championship game I think they are a strong bubble team. However, I think if UNI does not win the tournament that there is a good chance for another team besides Wichita to win it. The Shockers are beatable on the road, but as we have seen before I think they will easily have the most fans in St. Louis this year.

Well, we can still realistically finish 3rd if we can win our home games and 2 more road games. It starts Tuesday.

Other than the game at UNI on Wednesday, WSU should be favored in the rest of their games. We don't know the BB matchup yet, but let's say they lose to UNI this week, and lose one more time the rest of the way. They would be 24-6 with either a 14-4 or 13-5 MVC record, heading to St. Louis.

I have to believe they would have an RPI in the high 30s, low 40s. If they win twice in St. Louis, they are 26-7, and in good shape for an at-large. THe problem is they have one good win, 85-83 against Texas Tech.

WSU has two games left against UE, which will hurt their RPI no matter what happens.
