Agreed.......maybe a black towel also on the seat to wave. I REALLY think the players respond to this kind of stuff.

Lets give the fans a great effort...look what THEY are doing for us.

I'm still mad, I lost out on all my bids for the last batch of BU jerseys.
        Don't be MAD....... Bid higher!

Nope.....just show up and forget about all that other stuff, as many seemed to do during the "white-out".

I think the fans can send a message and having a sea of red can be somewhat intimidating to the visitors. Look at that MSU game....was THAT an awesome atmosphere or what.

Why can't we have that for the Valley games which are TEN times more importaint then MSU was?

I think recruits see it also and think...WOW what a great place, look at the crowd, they really are involved.
I completely agree! I can't even comprehend NOT wearing red to a Bradley game, unless of course it's a whiteout or blackout game. If I'm walking over from work, I make sure to take a Bradley shirt to work that day and change shirts just before heading over for the game. Next Tuesday, I'll make sure to wear all black to work and won't even have to bother changing before the game. I don't feel as if it's that much of an effort as a very simple show of support to the program on gamenight.

lol I would rather wear BU red, but...... I...... will wear the black at this game. The new AD talked about creativity in today's PJS. I hope that extends to more creative concepts for games next year.

That bugs me alot, as the MSU game looked so cool on TV, whereas most of the games just don't look that good. I always wear red when I go to games, and when I see all the people that don't it angers me. Why where another color? It doesn't make sense to me. When I went with my friends who had never been to a BU game before, I made sure I found some extra red BU gear for them to wear, cause I wouldn't let them leave until they wore red! As much as Illini fans bug me with their arrogance, nothing looks cooler on TV then when everyone is all dressed in Orange and some Blue, or MSU in their whiteouts. Support your team and where their colors!! Also It'd be cool if we could make the first few rows on the sides of the court for students too, so they could surround the court at least on 3 sides. Although we don't have enough students that show to do this anyway, as we don't even fill the regular student section.

                  Atta Boy Ben....

I understand and as Chucky T always says...EVERY game should be a RED OUT.

But I think what they heck....it might be cool. I mean if 95% do it it should be pretty neat sight. Trouble is it MIGHT not be enough to get the full effect.

But at least we got you "converted" and on board.

I was told today that the shirts would be waiting on the chairs in the stadium, I even offered to go early and help set that up, but it sounds like they won't need my help lol

Anyways point is that the shirts will be easily available for everyone so why not put it on and give it a chance.

The real question is the student section. Now I've only been here for 4 years, but it seems that whenever we do a white out, the students still stayed in red to contrast with the rest of the stadium which gives a cool look. But for the black out, do we break that streak and wear the black instead? Just trying to get a consensus before the game.

Actually, at the last "whiteout", there was a much larger percentage wearing white in the student section than the rest of the arena. I know what you mean though, I'd much rather have the student section wearing red for the blackout. I think that would be a nice contrast.

That is kind of why I asked that question because the last white out was the first time the students started to really wear the themed color which then made it look more half and half which honestly doesn't look as good. I would be fine either way, as long as a majority of the students follow that.

I think I speak for Big Mike, O&B74, and several other posters when I say...XXL PLEASE!!!!

If the shirt is to big for some fans then leave it in the dryer for an extra 20 minutes or so....

i really think we need to compromise....more people would be happy with a L (like me) than a XL

                              S M L XL XXL

I think if you had equal stacks of shirts marked by size at each entrance you'd have more takers from the XL pile.
Of course that is another issue, when there have been different sizes, it seems different entrances have different sizes, not an equal disribuion, then you get a bunch of XL people walking in "L" entrance then they do not wear their too small shirts, and they do not realize they can trade at another location..
