BU has five at home and four on the road for the remainder of the regular season. In a very best case scenario, they could go 6-3 (which I don't think will happen.) That means 16-13, which could also easily be 15-14 or worse. Pretty sure no one here saw this coming.

Biggest game(s) in JL career? I suggest they are now the next two games vs Illinois State this year. O-2 vs ISU in 010 = "Ah OOO" for JL....(apologies to Jim Rome!)BUilding for the Future

This team is rather predictable from here on out. I'll say a 9-9 finish at best, probably more like 8-10 and 5th or 6th place as usual. Creighton just exposed a flaw that I don't think was ever corrected during our short winning streak. Just pass the ball around for an easy wide open 3 time and time again. I'm not even going to fret over it, 3rd place/NIT is out of reach, now it's just time to wait for the MVC Tourney and hope for some luck as usual. Likely upcoming schedule outcomes....
at IL State - (L)
Drake - (W)
at Evansville - (W)
IL State - (undecided, maybe a W but more likely a L with the way they play at home)
UNI - (L)
at Indiana State - (W)
Wichita St - (L)
at Creighton - (L)
Bracketbuster - (Who cares LOL)

Just throwing out a positive - I think the team is taking the "one game at a time" approach. As fans, and I have a tendency to do this, we predict the rest of the season based on the previous game. Yes, the play at home has been disappointing, but aside from the MSU road game, they've played decent on the Valley road and haven't let the mental letdowns affect them as much. They will be ready on Saturday, and hopefully TB will be good until then.

My realistic predictions are as follows. I will trade you the Indiana St win for a Wichta St win, and will go with the home win against IL State:
at IL State - (L)
Drake - (W)
at Evansville - (W)
IL State - (W)
UNI - (L)
at Indiana State - (L)
Wichita St - (W)
at Creighton - (L)
Bracketbuster - (W)
I do think they can win this Saturday at IL State as they aren't the best in the Valley. I think Creighton has more upside potential than ISU, so I think a sweep is possible. For now though we probably lose at ISU on Saturday, but I hope they prove me wrong.
Indiana St is winnable too, however they have knocked off some good teams at home, so right now I lean towards a loss there.
Heck, Evansville is overdue for a win, so we better play our best there too.
And finally I think we split the UNI/WSU games. Sooner or later we beat a great team at home. If we beat MSU here, we can certainly grab at least one of those two.
I guess a 5-3 Valley finish would be good especially in a conference where there is a lot of parity this year.
