On another board I predicted Creighton by 6. Pretty good. Can't say I'm surprised. We're plagued by stupid shot selection. And I mean STUPID. Good effort to come back but I don't understand this team's home deficiency. Just like I don't understand the Blues.

Can't fault the effort, but still disappointing. I didn't like Roberts and WE taking those shots at those times. CR has got to hit free throws, he is a guard not a center. And the end of the day we just didn't hit the big shot when we needed to. Also the refs were awful, especially in the first half! Those charges were unbelievable and weren't even close! I'm not happy with our refs at all lately!! I think what we are missing is a pure shooter of the bench like DV said on the broadcast. We need a guy who can just knock down 3s. It would be nice to win at ISU saturday.

Dana Altman, the subject of of much comparison and belittlement on this board, now moves to 6-2 against our beloved coach in Peoria. I guess the proof is in the pudding.
          Onward and Upward!

No doubt Altman is a great coach..... but who belittled him?

I am SICK of all of the excuses. Bad refs, few bad choices, oh we should have done this, its ok, we have next time.

                no. no excuses.

we lost because we're the lesser team. And I'm sorry but we're mediocre this season at best. We lost. We're losers. Plain and simple. Work harder. Not performing? Well I wont be joining anyone around the campfire saying "oh well" and singing kumbaya. "But they're just students!". Uh, they're compensated professional athletes however you look at it.. Plain and simple. Four years at Bradley? That is ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS minimum. Tax free.

Sorry, but....stop putting up with the BS.

Here we go, everytime we lose does it come to this?? First of all the refs were terrible, it is not an excuse we should overcome it, but can't someone have an opinion on the refs?? Second there are always reasons for losses, you can't lose without there being a reason why whether it be turnovers, free throws or whatever. With this theory is Illinois worse than Loyola then cause we beat Illinois so they are the lesser team and we lost to Loyola so we and Illinois are lesser than them? You can't use that train of thought in college basketball. I'm dissappointed in the loss, but people act like we have been in the worst team in the league for 10 years with all the "sick of excuses" talk everytime we lose.

great post, but unfortunately, there are too many people here who will continue to make more excuses and keep their heads in the sand. it's easier and requires less thought. serenity now.

Every time we're a game away from breaking through and making a big step in conference play, we lose.

That said, we seemed to be more aggressive than normal on the court. If we continue to trend that way, we'll be fine. But we're just about out of time for results to catch up with effort. No more mulligans. It's go time.

So anyone who is possitive is ignorant??? Because you are obviously right in your opinion and no one else could be, it is everyone else who is wrong. I don't think any of us think less about BU basketball than you do so that is not true AT ALL! What is it you suggest we do right now anyway quit? Bradley is obviously an embarrassment to everyone so let's quit the season and stop playing.

Yeah, this is when the losses early in conference bite you. You know you are always going to get a tough one at home late. Creighton isn't an elite team but played well tonight.

We all, me included got pumped about another late season run, but truth is it can be improbable. Quote of the Valley - what a difference a week makes.
