All I want is for Bradley to beat Creighton tonight so they can get back to Omaha and take care of any behavioral issues they may have!!!! Beyond that everything else is irrelevant.......

He's certainly entitled to think what he wants, but what about the ongoing issues with Stinnett that have gone back 3 years and have resulted in numerous benchings and suspensions...those discipline issues certainly have been "existent"?
Also many people have posted that they have seen him drinking (while underage) and also smoking weed...I realize those are just hearsay accounts, but they are numerous and surely the coaching staff must be aware of all this??
And, as noted elsewhere there were troublesome issues with...
-Isacc Miles who refused to play the way Altman wanted and who had drug issues and suspensions, then finally got booted
-Ty Morrison, who had health problems but who had serious issues and anger at the Creighton staff for the way he was treated.
He didn't leave due to his illness, but due to issues with the staff.
In a recent interview with ASUDevils.com , Ty Morrison - the former No. 1 JUCO player in the country and Bluejay tells a tale of being force...

-Kenton Walker, who indeed didn't get along with P'Allen, but really stated quite plainly that the reason he left was because of the inconsistent discipline coming from the coaching staff - NOT because of his differences with teammates.
-D'Angalo Jackson felt he was misled on his chances of playing time, argued with Dana and was gone...
-Terrell Taylor - who single handedly won the only NCAA Tourney game for Dana in the past decade, failed drug tests and was gopne after his junior year.
The kid was a potential stud, had 28 points in the upset of #5 seed Florida, and hit the game winning 3-pt shot in OT with 0.2 seconds in the game.
-Cavel Witter and Dana had issues non-stop and Cavel left then was begged back and now has a much smaller role......

so...believe what you want...but I find it surprising that Bradley gets labelled as a renegade program with lots of discipline issues, but we've had fewer than HALF the issues Crighton has had in the same time span, and CU is described as
"Disciplinary issues ..have been non-existent ..for better than a decade"
Many of these things you point out are disagreements with players about playing time or their role on the team. They don't seem to have had many problems with players getting arrested, pulled over by police, under-age drinking, fighting, etc. Their problems seem to be of the variety of minor disagreements between a player and the coach. Problems? Yes, but nothing of the major variety.
So this problem with Stinnett seems to be the first of the truly major variety and it seems that DA is dealing with it.
Some see a hopeless end, while others see an endless hope.

This show just how out of touch JL's frequent bashers are, and how much is exaggerated.
I post a lot, but other than one post with an image of a broken record (which, by the way, I did not initiate), I have ignored and not commented on the hundreds, if not thousands of posts that constantly remind us that Bradley has not finished higher than 4th under Jim Les.
We are also reminded endlessly of his reocrd, and lack of NCAA appearances (if we skip 2006).
If you can show evidence where I have criticized people posting this repetetive info, please do so. But I could show hundreds of cases where I have simply ignored it, as I suggest those who get so worked up over tornado's posts should do.

How about some honest talk and a dose of reality....

99% of those comments you ignore are a result of people that feel obligated to post in rebutal becuase one person repeatedly makes Bradley and the fanbase look like fools.

The majority wants others to understand we don't feel that way and most don't care about ISU speeding tickets and Dana Altmans lack of institiutional control at CU among a MYRIAD of other pointless drivel. Not to mention being told if we don't give BU players A's on the report card then we should go root for another team......

Quite frankly people are ticked off, embarassed and while this board is succesfull its become a laughingstock throughout the valley. Thats sad.

People defend guys like P Allen and bring up stuff about Les to be fair NOT to bash.

Quite honestly - I could care less what other people at other boards think about Bradley, this board, and its posters.

This has to be the best statement made all day...

As I have said before, I along w/ most others could really give a cr*p less about what Creighton, ISU, SIU, etc. are doing and what goes on w/ their players or staff...

All we care about is Bradley Basketball, good or bad, and I would venture to guess that most of us don't live in Neverland or Disneyworld...

Simply put, whether it be good or bad, we CAN and SHOULD be able to accurately tell it like it is...

-FACT BU did overachieve at the end of 06 into the Sweet 16...It put Les on the map

-FACT BU has consistently been mediocre in conference play to the point that they have never finished above 4th

-FACT BU has finished below .500 in 3 of Les' 7 seasons

-FACT BU has all the talent to win this league

^^ That right there is just a glimpse...

There's no sense in negativity if there's no reason to be.

              LIKEWISE...

There's no sense in positivism when it just isn't true.

              Thats all I have.

Wow, I don't even know what to say to that. Other than you might notice I have been a member here 4 years and only have 266 posts.

Maybe denial IS a river in Egypt.

Go Braves beat Dana's renegade thugs.

I can't speak in terms that general Dogs.. but my SIU friends wish in many cases their board was more like ours. They say their board is way too negative.

But that is because most SIU fans are angry they have to go to the library to use the computer. Probably because their home still has wheels.

I think there is and SHOULD be limits on the negativity. For the most part I agree with that.

There needs to be new and tighter restrictions on the hypocrisy. (and other questionable things)

Just my 2 cents........(that I give out whenever the opportunity is available)

You should have heard the arguement I ended up in when one of the guys called Carbondale "God's Country". Sadly I thought he was joking. He was not.

It is "God's Country" because no one else will take it.
