so if a discipline issue never shows up on your web page, then it's non-existent??
there have been numerous discipline issues in the past several years at CU, talk of it HAS been in the press and on the blogs and boards many times, many places, and that's all I am saying.........
Ha, ha, I wonder how much objection I'd get if I said discipline issues are non-existent or minor at Bradley??
Yet - the few issues of Ruff, Battle, TB, TCS...were minor, not related to drugs or breakage of team rules, all the charges in the case were deferred or later cleared, and none were team-issues between the player and the coach requiring discipline...while most of the more numerous issues at Creighton ARE!!

You brought up a bunch of examples from Creighton where players left because they were disgruntled with playing time, issues with the staff, or because there were rumored issues...so I think your all-inclusive list of BU "issues" being Ruff, Battle, TB, TCS is quite a bit lacking if you are using the same criteria to compare 'issues' at both schools...
When I see posts that repeat tired, old thoughts over and over again, I just skip over them and ignore them.

There have been hundreds of tired, old posts with the same thoughts on Jim Les or other 'broken record' topics...and you provide your opinions in all of them...you would never simply "skip over them and ignore them"...
The only person in this thread to use the names of BU players in the same sentence with the word charges is tornado. To defend the position that CU is in worst shape than BU as far as dicipline you have to mention BU's trouble.
Now I am reminded that BU's problems have included law enforcement and NCAA suspensions and CU's are mainly internal.

Agreed...and to be fair, if he wants to compare "apples to apples" here, his "all-inclusive list" of problems that occurred at BU of Ruff, TB, Battle, and TCS is woefully incomplete...There are many other suspensions, "issues with the staff", and player defections from BU that are conveniently missing from his argument. (Granger, POB, Franklin, R. Brown, Fears, Jassey, Austin, Norris are just a few that come to mind that would have to be brought in from the BU side of things based on the criteria used for his 'comparison'). Do that, and suddenly, BU doesn't look so "squeaky clean".
It's obviously just his opinion. Please don't get so worked up because someone has a different opinion.
I can see his issue- that DRs article suggests Dana Altman's program hasn't had to deal with disciplinary issues. But that isn't entirely true, as Creighton has had a number of significant player discipline issues. I applaud Dana Altman for dealing with them, and I applaud the Creighton press and fans for not making such a big deal about them the way such issues are handled with such sensationalism by the Peoria press and some fans.
The Creighton administration has no problem with their students drunk and belligerent behavior every year at the Valley tournament so I doubt they even get involved with anything to do with the athletic dept.

Yes, and this shows the fine line between not getting involved (Creighton) and getting involved in activities way too much (Glasser)...

But is that true about discipline issues? Lots have been made about Jim Les' discipline issues, but I contend Les has actually had fewer such issues than Dana!
He's certainly entitled to think what he wants, but what about the ongoing issues with Stinnett that have gone back 3 years and have resulted in numerous benchings and suspensions...those discipline issues certainly have been "existent"?
Also many people have posted that they have seen him drinking (while underage) and also smoking weed...I realize those are just hearsay accounts, but they are numerous and surely the coaching staff must be aware of all this??
And, as noted elsewhere there were troublesome issues with...
-Isacc Miles who refused to play the way Altman wanted and who had drug issues and suspensions, then finally got booted
-Ty Morrison, who had health problems but who had serious issues and anger at the Creighton staff for the way he was treated.
He didn't leave due to his illness, but due to issues with the staff.
In a recent interview with ASUDevils.com , Ty Morrison - the former No. 1 JUCO player in the country and Bluejay tells a tale of being force...
-Kenton Walker, who indeed didn't get along with P'Allen, but really stated quite plainly that the reason he left was because of the inconsistent discipline coming from the coaching staff - NOT because of his differences with teammates.
-D'Angalo Jackson felt he was misled on his chances of playing time, argued with Dana and was gone...
-Terrell Taylor - who single handedly won the only NCAA Tourney game for Dana in the past decade, failed drug tests and was gopne after his junior year.
The kid was a potential stud, had 28 points in the upset of #5 seed Florida, and hit the game winning 3-pt shot in OT with 0.2 seconds in the game.
-Cavel Witter and Dana had issues non-stop and Cavel left then was begged back and now has a much smaller role......
and there were others, Bishop, Henderson, Porter...but a lot of the discipline issues were not plastered all over the papers like happens in Peoria, and some were just rumored, but where there's smoke, there's fire.......so I perhaps DR never heard about them...

Tornado, in your very fist post you mention Jim Les in the same sentence as Dana Altman as well as Bradley along with Creighton. How can you even say someone else "out of the blue" brought up the comparison when your first post was indeed a very long winded comparison and defense of Bradley by accusing Creighton.

First post 5th sentence YOU brought BU into the discusion........so to use YOUR words....."no YOU are simply wrong."
And IF you are going to be allowed to use hearsay and rumor about P and drugs then you are going to have to include those SAME rumors about us. For starters Browns latest suspension was becuase he was hammered out of his mind and Les had to rescue him from a party where he didn't even recognize JL.

So when you post what you said is "hearsay" you saw on other message boards as part of your argument, it is considered ****ing evidence. However, when we post an account of the problems we have had in the past with various players of our own, it is considered to be a bad thing. Not sure where your argument is here.
You were the first, and only, person on this thread that has said anything about BU being a renegade program.
People need to recognize there is a huge difference between playing hard, and playing well...
