One other game has already produced some whining...

The Iowa at Indiana game that was scheduled for 4PM, but a few days ago......the start time was moved back an hour so the people who are watching the Colts' football game (that starts at 2PM) can still make the IU game..

Iowa's todd Lickliter is upset...even though it's just a one hour time change...
but I guess he'd prefer to play in a half empty arena...

I guess Iowa is getting homered!!

            UNI outrebounded InSU 36-21
            outshot them 51.1% to 38.9%
            outshot from 3pt 31.6% to 27.8%
outscored from the FT line 15-11
            had more assists 16-5!
and also won most other stat categories....so how this was still just a 6-7 pt game all the way down the stretch until UNI started hitting FT's in the final 1:09...is beyond me...
UNI makes 9-10 FTs in the final minute for the final margin

Yeah, so far not looking like too many teams are going to catch up to UNI this year.

UNI had 14 turnovers to Indiana State's 8...that's a pretty significant difference.

                    Box score-

Creighton shot very well- 23-47, and their weak area- free throws- they were 26-32 (81.2%) for the game.
Neither team shot the three well, but Adam leonard, one of the best in the MVC, was 0-7 for the game from three and was scoreless.

Creighton got a lot of inside looks, but nobody hit from outside...
P'Allen had another mediocre game, 8 pts, 2 reb, 1 asst, 1 TO, 4 fouls...
but his fouls led to several made FT (Ricks, Mallett) plus P'Allen picked up another technical that also led to 2 FT's.....

I notice after his technical at 12 minutes, he didn't play much at all...
and in that final 12 minutes or so...Creighton outscored MSU 29-19...
Not only has P'Allen lost his starting role, he obviously has lost even further playing time with his antics.
