This should be the 1st sell out of the year and the team needs a great 6th man out of the crowd from start to finish.
No, we need to defend just like we have been defending. (Except the end of the Evansville game where we packed it in and went zone, JL said that coaching change cost us our <60 ppg defensive sreak, on him.)

2-3 is the best defense against Creighton...

Also, I agree BG- skip it!

I can not remember a professor at the school who would've been p*ssed at me for choosing a game over class...most already know what your choice will be if you can make up the work...

Just as long as its not exam night.

I also think a healthy dose of fresh 'Kool Aid' would be just the thing Wed night to get you better.
Trust me the thought has crossed my mind. This isn't exactly the type of class you should skip though. For one thing it's extremely hard (and related to the research I'm doing so it would look bad to the professor - whom I'm working with) and second there are only 3 people in the class so it would be very clear that I'm not there.

Maybe I'll go just for the 2nd half.

he is 9-26 in Valley play compared to his 23-48 shooting against their pre-conference schedule.
P'Allen has taken the most 3-pointers on their team and as expected, he's forcing plenty and hitting only about 28%.

As a team in Valley conference play, Creighton ranks DEAD LAST in 3-pt shooting pct...
and Bradley is FIRST, believe it or not!!

          3-POINT FG PCT G 3FGM 3FGA Pct
          1. Bradley 9 56 147 .381
          2. Illinois State 9 62 167 .371
          3. Missouri State 8 61 165 .370
          4. Indiana State 8 61 170 .359
          5. Drake 9 71 199 .357
          6. Wichita State 9 63 179 .352
          7. Evansville 9 48 137 .350
          8. Southern Illinois 9 61 178 .343
          9. Northern Iowa 8 42 133 .316
          10. Creighton 8 41 154 .266
Interesting statistic. Per ESPN this morning, of the 46 teams ranked in the API, only 12 were in the top 50 schools in Team 3PT FG% and only 15 were in the top 50 schools in Team 3PT FG made per game.

Perhaps not as important a statistic as we think.

Have you tried reasoning with your professor?

I am guessing that you must know him/her fairly well and have a good rapport with them if you're one of 3 in the class...

Try dropping by the office or an email in the next couple days and see if you can work something out...

I used to do this myself on occasion...as I have stated 50 billion times...I would've had to be sedated in a hospital to miss a single game, and never actually did...

My home streak rivals that of Reynolds and Snell...

Also pretty good considering I drive 3 hours give or take...(unless I schedule a "business" CC where I can already be in Peoria)

No I haven't tried that and that idea never really came to me. I don't have the guts to do that though. I think if I just flat out skipped it would be better than tell him the truth about why I don't want to go to class. He'd probably lose more respect for me. He's not exactly the basketball type.

^^ This right here is exactly the difference between the Bradleys and the Illinois', Duke's, and so on...

Bribe him or her Ask them to rescheduled the class and, and, and in return take them to the game and buy them a couple beers and some corn If its a woman, post her picture here and I am sure there will be one of your buddy's here at bradleyfans, (if likes what he see's) will help with buying the beers and corn Hell, I know Benni is not picky

                    hahaha

Unfortunately it is indeed a male professor. Not only that....he's a vegetarian non-drinker. I hope I'm not giving too much away. I'd feel especially bad if I have been fooled and he actually posts on this board!

And I agree STLBrave....if Bradley wants to make the next jump up in academic prestige all classes should have to revolve around the basketball schedule!!

                    Quick, someone notify Pres. Glasser.

P'Allen Stinnett has been suspended by Dana Altman indefinitely.

For the year, he was 9.2 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 2.45 apg for Creighton. He started most of his career, but has come off the bench the last five games. He actually still plays the most minutes for Creighton at 25.8 mpg. He shoots roughly 40% from the field and 28% from three point land.

This has been coming for a long time, how much are you willing to put up with as far as a so called star player goes, I don"t believe there is an opposing team in the Valley that has any respect for P"Allen as far as a person, he really believes he can get away with just about anything.

Sounds like a "Granger" like fiasco at Creighton.

Wonder if P will transfer to New Mexico State?
