I saw former Bradley players at today's game-
Reggie Hall, Gus Mason, Phil Gilbert, Marcello Robinson, Danny Adams, and, of course, Carl Maniscalco.
Jake Eastman's mom and dad (Boston Celtics' assistant coach Kevin Eastman) were also at the game, as were Andrew Warren's mom and Dad, and Sam Singh's dad.
I hope I didn't miss to many other VIP visitors!

Allow 37 2nd half points to Evansville I would imagine does not make Les to happy, and it shouldnt. To many open looks and defensive breakdowns in both halfs of the game. Zoning them in the first half was not a great idea, we do not rotate well in a zone.

Is it me or does everyone make every ft they shoot against us? 12-12 for Eville in the 2nd half and 14-16 overall. A win is a win but defensively if we play that way Wednesday we will not win. Also they were 16 assists to 9 turnovers and I dont recall but maybe 2 or 3 actual fastbreak opportunities.

Wonder what's going on with EM. DSE and JE appear to have passed him up.

Starters logged too many minutes against a team like Evansville. We should have put them away earlier and been able to coast.

But, a win is a win. Let's take 3rd all alone on Wednesday.
There was a mention on the postgame about EM's hand (injury?), but that was all I heard..

We'll definitely need to play better to beat CU Wednesday.

Well Rick if we shoot 52.1% from the field, 58.3% from 3, make our free throws at a 77.3% clip and out rebound the Jays by 14, ALL of which we did tonight against the ACES, I GURANTEE we will beat the Jays !!!!!!!!!!!!

I bet there are a lot of teams that would like to have a "not very inspiring game" like that.

Yeah, you're right and I agree with you. I guess I was just a little down this afternoon with the fog and clouds hanging at tree level and other more significant things going on in the world and our country. I should have been more positive/happy with our win, they did play a good game and won. If we put those percentages up against CU we will definitely win! CU is going to be a different team though. Go Braves!

They played a little ragged today and TB could not for the 2nd game get on track due to fouls. I expect him to rebound next Wednesday where CU is bigmen challenged. AW had a decent game and is making the right adjustments. CU will have to double up WE or else they will get killed in the paint. JL should be able to get their attention this week to sharpen up their game.

Bradley with 5 players in double figures.
Evansville's leading scorer, Colt Ryan, took 15 shots (5-15 and 2-8 on threes) to get 12 points.
                          BU outrebounded UE 35-25.
Great shooting- 25-48 overall (52.1%), and 7-12 from three (58.3%).
Another nice day at the FT line for BU (17-22 for 77.3%)
Excellent defense- UE was just 22-56 overall (39.3%) and only 6-20 from three (30%).
Will Egolf with another tremendous game- 11 points, 8 rebounds, 4 blocks, and a bunch of tipped passes in just 23 minutes.

                          Attendance 9,765.
how can you list all that and NOT give some props to Sammy who played really hard and really well today...
Sam Maniscalco was again my Player of the Game!!

Way to keep the streak going Braves. Won a game they should have won, and needed to win, to keep movnig up in the Valley.

Kudos to Will ' The Avalanche' Egoff. He continues to improve his game and definitely has kept the BU crowds cheering the whole game!!

Hopefully BU players won't forget what they have done to turn things around: DEEEEEFENCE, REBOUNDING, BALANCED INSIDE/OUTSIDE OFFENSE and FREE THROW SHOOTING!

                            GO BU!

With ISU's loss, Bradley is now tied for 3rd place, and with Wichita State's loss, anything is possible.

I heard fans talking about winning out being a possibility! Bradley has 5 more home MVC games (ISU, WSU, CU, DU, and UNI) and road games at Indiana State, Evansville, ISU, and CU. I think winning 7 of the 9 is quite realistic, and the way BU is playing, all are winnable.

When will we see the column saying, "Ooops, we were wrong, the best was yet to come".

Can I nitpik a little? I didn't think AW had much of a game really. he made his ft's but other than that didn't seem to do much against a much smaller team. I thought we played just ok other than WE and SM...I love JE and DSE'e energy off the bench.

I see why Evansville has lost 9 in a row

I think we will be more up for the CU game on Wednesday. Even though CU is having a rough year, they have been playing better of late and will start to win on the road sooner or later. Now is the perfect time to take a game from these guys before they do.
