    NCAA postseason eligability vs graduation rate?

    I didn't see any discussion on this board, but apparently Obama's Secretary of Education would like to see qualification for the NCAA tournament be tied to a school's graduation rate.

    At face value, I agree...and this would serve to level the playing field. However I am sure this will never happen. Anyone else find this interesting?

    Education Secretary Arne Duncan on Wednesday said poor graduation rates among some college basketball programs would improve if the NCAA linked postseason play to the number of student-athletes getting their diplomas.
