    Poor Ed DeChellis, the head coach of Penn State...
    his team isn't very good this year, but they committed the unpardonable sin...
    they lost last night at home to Indiana......so now they've enraged the local press and they're all over DeChellis and placing him directly on the hot seat...

    At least they didn't lose at home to Loyola...that would be a much, much bigger black eye for a program.

            i firmly believe that too much is brought on coaches.

            although they could have recruited better and developed better.

              DeChellis is a good coach and is widely liked by his peers..he'll turn it around, but he's in a tough situation given that the school shows little support for basketball...

                I think the Illini would love to see DeChellis gone. They've really struggled against Penn State the last seven or eight years.

                  Let's not fool ourselves into thinking Loyola is a decent team...they are currently 8th in that powerhouse Horizon League...
