Ummmmm am I the only one that feels like we got lucky and a game like this wont get us very far in Arch Madness? Our 5 minute, 15-0 run (which very, very rarely happens) was great but we snuck the win by 2. How do you think we would have done without the 15-0 run?

yeah yeah yeah, a win is a win. But this feels like the Bears vs. Lions game.

It is an excellent sign when we can win a game ON THE ROAD (let alone at SIU) when our two leading scorers combine for only 9 points. Way to go SM and WE...taking it to a new level. And DSE off the bench was huge. I'm proud of our boys!

BTW, SM is averaging 17 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 3 ast, and 1.2 stl in the past 6 games...I think he's our MVP thus far in the conference season.

Well Creighton got out 17-5 tonight at ISU and lost...we got out 15-0 and won. Winning > losing in that situation, regardless of how pretty or ugly it is.

Lucky...good defense....bad play by the home team.....it really doesn't matter. You take road games by forfeit if you must.

It was an ugly game while it was being played but right now it sure looks pretty.

Probably wouldn't have won.

But if you make that arguement, you must make these arguements if you want to make a valid point...

What would have happened if we had TB vs BYU?
What if we hadn't allowed a 17-2 run in the late in the game vs W. Carolina?
What if Loyola didn't hit a miracle shot?
What if we don't allow a 22-8 run vs SIU at home?
What if Wichita St doesn't start the 2nd half with a 10-0 run?
What if the refs don't call the charging foul at the end vs UNI?

It would be nice if Warren wouldn't pull his houdini act again. That's twice in last 4 games, very reminiscent of his soph season. And Brown needs to grow up too and realize his importance to the team. We'd have blown them out of the barn for good in 1st half if he'd be a little smarter

We still won, and this was a road game in a hostile environment. AND it is a makeup for our home loss against these guys. Basically we got the split the hard way, but it is a split.

And unlike the Bears, you still get the feeling this team is on the upswing versus the Bears who were stagnant all season.

A stupid intentional foul on AW, and TB got into early foul trouble. Not good if this team wants to make a run toward the top 3 of the Valley and during the MVCT as well. Hopefully Les gets through to them by Saturday.
