Schedule a few teams that cannot make free throws.

      Move your feet, stop reaching?

I think it just means we have sent a lot of teams to the line who have shot it incredibly versus us this year.

Yeah, I think it is mostly some combination of the schedule and luck. Still, if anyone with seats behind the basket has any of those giant spinning wheels it couldn't hurt.

I posted the same thing a couple of weeks ago. It's even weirder actually... We've been "bad" at defending free throws for like five out of six years.

Coach Les had the guys working on FT defense today. I am sure we'll do much better in tonight's game.

Play more physical. Tire guys out. Not sure we have the personnel to do that this year, and not really sure it's absolutely required to win ball games. But if I could think of a way to change that, playing more physical basketball would be the way. Of all the things to have a beef with regarding this year's team, this is probably at the bottom of the list.

When you play a decent schedule you will go up against better players that are capable of making freethrows.

Maybe we should put the tall guys at the top of the lane & have them reach their arms high into the middle - NAH!

Maybe it has something to do with fouling the wrong guys?

Here's what it is.........it's because we clearly have played the best & most quality opponents...BY FAR!
Maybe if we were playing the patsies ISU is playing, they'd probably miss more FT's
