Every time dse gets the ball he looks to pass... And I've seen passes out of him I haven't seen since Ruffin was back there. I'm still struggling to see how a guy could be more of a pure PG.

Well his ballhandling is fine, but you're right, we haven't seen him break press yet. I'll agree with you there SFP. He's brought the ball up a few times, but never under any real pressure. He's got one attribute when he's been running the point that I really like in a PG: he does not dribble too much. It's a four or five steps most before he's passing.

If DSE can do it, then I say great let him. I have to agree with others though, I have not seen him handle the ball to the level that is needed from a pg.Lets surrender ..... Chesty Puller.... "H*$$ NO !!! we have the enemy right where we want them they can't hide"

Ok, I'll put my two cents in on this...for what it's worth.
DSE can play PG (he played that position in HS), but he's not being asked to play that position at BU. He's playing on the wing, and is guarding wing players on the defensive end.
BU has SM and EM at PG. They are doing the lion's share of the ballhandling.
But as anyone can plainly see, DSE has ball skills. He can split the double team, drive to the basket, finish at the rim or dish for an assist. Those are PG skills.
I don't see DSE as a 2 guard. He is not a pure shooter. His strengths are penetration and defense.
IMO, DSE is a combo guard. He may become more of a PG when SM graduates, but his skills enable him to be a combo guard in the BU system.
