How high will BYU rise in the ranks? That 10 point loss without Brown isn't lookin to bad now considering they just put a 44 point drubbing on 11-6 Colorado St (2-0) in the MWC. Currently 18-1 and on a 13 game winning streak that also includes a 30 point drubbing at Arizona.

20,000 fans in attendance for today's 44 point shallacking.

What does it matter how good they are or how it looks? We've lost 8 times in addition to that game, and we're only 17 games in. That game only matters if we're on the bubble. That bubble burst in early December.

Yeah, BYU has done well so far this season. Interesting team for sure.
Some see a hopeless end, while others see an endless hope.

It certainly doesn't matter to us now unless we were to run the table from here on out. But even so, we have too many questionable losses to be considered for an at-large bid unless we finish in second place and lose the Valley final by one point to UNI!

However, for a college basketball fan like myself, I would like to see BYU win as many games as possible and set themselves up for a high seed in the NCAA Tournament. That would set the stage for a possible deep run for a non-BCS team like BYU, even though BYU and the MWC are almost the "seventh" BCS conference as it is.

The only way we make the dance is to either win the MVC outright or winning in St. Louis. We have a better chance in St Louis then winning the regular season.

Oh I agree. I was just talking about a "hypothetical" situation on what we would need to do to even get back into the at-large discussion. Even if we ran the table and beat a top 25 UNI team at home, I don't know if that would be enough as the Illinois win may not carry as much weight if Illinois misses the tournament.
