Question.....Did JL throw the water bottle after the SS missed bunny? The T' was on the BU bench and JL took the water bottle ba ck from the ref!

        Game story from BradleyBraves.com-
PEORIA, Ill. -- A 14-5 start to the game gave Bradley an early lead and the Braves never looked back as they cruised to a 74-56 Missouri Valley Conference men's basketball victory against Missouri State Saturday afternoon at Carver Arena. Sophomore Taylor Brown scored 10 of his team-high 16 points in the first seven minutes of the contest to highlight Bradley's early run and he finished with his fourth double-double of the year by adding a career-best 12 rebounds.

BU outrebounded MSU 43-28 (sorry if that's already been mentioned.
Decent crowd for an afternoon game- 9,628

Amazing crowd considering the way they have been playing, the nightmare parking, and the fact that it was an afternoon game.

Yea he was ticked. That was an extremely open layup and kind of felt more critical than it actually was...probably because we ended up getting the stop afterwards anyway.

WE played very well today in the post defensively. Seems like this was the first game where we had a defensive presence in the lane

CR did alot without scoring......huge rebounds from nowhere....

there was pretty consistent energy from everyobe today....

I don't mind the turnovers as much as missed layups form the post but otherwise a very good game.

Our post players were open every time on their roll after the screen

The announcers seemed to think it was an accident, although you couldn't see what happened on the video feed. I got the feeling that maybe he swung his arm in disgust and the bottle slipped out.

Went to BWW to celebrate after the game...just got back!!! Best 40 mins outside of the Illinois game all year! IMO the difference in this game from the other home games this year was our defense! I felt that today we built our first half lead because we were stopping them by playing good D, not just because they had a bad shooting half! In the second half we continued the Defensive effort and our rebounding was just plain ridiculous!!! Great game!!!

                    Go BU!!!
Some see a hopeless end, while others see an endless hope.

Not much else to add other than awesome D and rebounding. I can't count how many times I saw BU players diving thru the air to get loose rebounds. Where was that effort and motivation earlier in the season?

I am somewhat concerned about how well this team will do in the MVC tourney 3 games in 3 days. Les really needs to develop at least 1 other player off the bench. At least get them 5-10 minutes a game. At the intensity of today's D, they were really wiped toward the end of the game.

And how bout that crazy parking before the game today. I wish I would of known that the St. Jude Gymnastics were also going on at the Civic Center. That 2,500 people took up most of the deck parking. Thus causing a lot of congestion with people going all sorts of directions when they noticed that the decks were full. Luckily we got in our deck and the full sign was just going up when we were walking out of the entrance. Took us 25 minutes just go to 3 blocks lol.

As complete a game as we've played this year. Our effort on the defensive end and on the boards has been outstanding the last two games. I hope that these guys have gotten it straightened out. As long as we put forth great effort like this we'll have a chance to win every ball game. The kool-aid is tasting pretty good right now.

that and the fact that the fewer the number of whistles...it always seems to benefit us....
there were some missed calls, but I can live with a few....as long as they don't call the ticky stuff and dozens of high screen fouls..

                              Agreed with this part.

Isn't he the one who said- "Better days are not ahead"

Seems he was wrong or at least a little overly-negative about that one.
