Again another opinion that really is just that! Unless anyone has actually talked to JW or a close friend then this is all very speculative. I'm going to start taking MM's point of view on all matters of recruiting. That is I do not care anymore about, who said, she said comments. When they show up on campus I'll start to follow them in earnest and then root for them.

Oh, right, sorry BB... I was thinking of Pirla Sloof, Lirpa's older brother, who committed to us a couple of seasons ago, and then renegged to play in the prodigious Senegal Basketball Three-star A+ Superliga.

So here we are - January 25 - and no word from a judge on whether John Wilkins can play JUCO basketball this year. At this point would it even be worth it? What is 10 games going to show scouts other than a lot of rust and the potential for injury? Hopefully he is still on track to graduate, regardless of whether he becomes a Brave or not.

John would be a great addition for BU next season and could possibly get a lot of minutes at the 3 and 4 position as Chris Roberts will be gone and Taylor Brown really has no backup, it would be a great opportunity for both sides to make this happen. I guess the Iowa court system did not wish to get involved.

Sloof

Sloof is definitely a more imposing figure than P Stinnett! He also will have trouble traveling due to the high/exotic metal content in his dental work. Opponents will also need to have several extra glass bank/back boards available or we're going to see a lot of delays or postponements in games. He may also help clean up the MVC officiating core!

Quite a recruit with a plus in that he is reportedd to have an off the charts IQ and as I understand it his system does not tolerate alcohol or foreign substances!

I heard that when Sloof does push ups, he doesn't move, but the earth goes down his arm's length.

When he runs, the planet spins below him like a treadmill!

Also heard that Sloof was on the airplane in Detroit and used his massive physique as a human shield to stop the crotch bomber!!

In the Guinness book of world records the liner notes point out that Sloof holds all the records and the book records the closest everyone else has gotten to him.
