  • OT - Bulls stun Boston in Boston tonight!

Well the Bulls did something that Bradley almost did against UNI the other night. The Bulls beat Boston, the number two team in the conference on the road 96-83. The Bulls are now on a nice run winning 7 of their last 11 games and just 2 games out of fifth place in the Eastern Confernce!

It just goes to show you that if Bradley can get on a run themselves, they can definitely make some noise in the Valley against some great teams.

I just watched the game, and the Bulls not only won, they lead nearly the entire game and seemed in control the whole way. Kevin Garnett didn't play, but it still shows the Bulls are improved from where they were a month ago and could make some noise in the playoffs this year.

    Bulls 96
    Celtics 83

      Bad

Well when I turned the game on and saw the stiffs that were playing for Boston. My comment was it would be pathetic if the Bulls can't win this game. It was a gift because of injuries. I am enjoying the play of Noah. He was my least favorite Bull and now he is my favorite.

It was hardly Boston at full strength. Both Kevin Garnett and Rasheed Wallace did not play. The Bulls are playing a bit better with Tyrus Thomas back, but they're still bad. But in the East, bad is good enough to make the playoffs.

Excuse me, but I though injuries can't be used as an excuse?

Good one, Coach!! I've never understood the old cliche that "you can't use injuries as an excuse"....well, yes you can! It's called root cause. If your best players are hurt, you're likely to loose....that's a causal factor...not an excuse. The other falacy is that "everyone has injuries"....well, no they don't!! Not every team has significant injuries to their best players. Even in the NFL you'll have teams keep their key people healthy over the course of a season while others sustain significant injuries. It's not an excuse it's root cause.

And bad may be good enough for a #5 seed in the East as well! That's how BAD the East is!

When Chicago beats Boston on Bostons floor with Garnett, Wallace and Marquis Daniels then that will be impressive.

Also Boston was playing 4th game in 5 nights.

A win is a win and Chicago is on a 3 game win streak and 7 out of their last 10. And can get to within 2 of .500 tonight, but they have a nice long 7 straight on the road and out of their next 12, 10 are on the road.

Hope they continue to grow and play well but this upcoming stretch is going to go a long ways in determining alot with this team this season.
