If you could pick anyone you wanted to form a 12 man basketball team from current MVC team rosters, who would you choose? Doesn't have to be stat leaders, and should reflect your coaching mindset regarding offense, defense, bench, etc.

Starters:
Dillard
Eldridge
Ahelegebe
A. Koch
Weems
Bench:
Colt Ryan
Toure Murry
AW
Mallet
TB
Carmichael
Lawson
uptempo, lots of pressing.
Picked 3 freshman so my team has a future too. Want to be able to get up and down the floor quickly (no Egleseder) and nobody should be playing more than 25 per game. Lots of Dana like line changes. Several guys who can hit 3's in bunches, tried to get guys who are good at getting to the free throw line and converting.

I like this thread alot, I'm gonna spend some time looking at it, and I'll post mine. I think it'll be interesting to see how people view it. I think I'm going to do it like a coach, look at graduating classes, roleplayers, etc. not just the 12 best players in the league.

Dillard
Eldridge
Brown
Weems
Lawson
Kwadzo
Freeman
Carter
Carmichael
Egleseder
Colt
Booker
Dillard can score and leads the league in assists. He is very good.
Edgridge has the most star-power and can shoot/score/catch fire on anyone.
Brown would be much better as a 3 and has plenty of upside.
Weems for cleanup duty and rebounding. A great 4.
Lawson for size and rebounding.
Kwadzo is steady, great D, veteran, perfect 6th man.
Freeman can get a shot off under pressure and bury the 3. One dimensional.
Justin Carter can D up inside and out and score inside and out. Versatility.
Carmichael for the future as a rebounding, shotblocking, animal inside.
Egleseder may be the most dominant player in the Valley but no stamina.
Colt is arguably the best Freshman in the league. Great size for a guard.
Booker is a homer pick. Leads the league in rebounding per 40 and up there in blocked shots. He is getting steadily better with every game but is still very raw. If it all comes together and he learns to stay out of foul trouble he will be a monster by his senior year.

Hmm...This is an interesting post...
F - Adam Koch
F - Kenny Lawson
C - Dimma Odiakosa
G - Toure Murry
G - Kwazdo Ahelegbe
Bench:
JT Durley (F)
Chris Roberts (G)
Taylor Brown (F)
Tony Freeman (G)
Jordan Egleseder (C)
Kyle Weems (F)
Clevin Hannah (G)
Head Coach: Greg Marshall
Assistants: Cuonzo Martin (rec), Chris Lowery (rec), Marty Simmons (for def)
Many tough decisions with this team here, but I think they'd be pretty good.
