I'd still rather have a quick throw to SM or AW for a shot rather throwing it into 3 UNI guys and 1 BU guy in the air with someone standing in front of you and making it awkward...just didn't seem like the best option. Maybe it was idk.
Either way it seemed like at least .8 should have been left anyway, but of course the refs kept it at .6

I think so... I'm real glad Les spoke strongly about that call in the postgame radio interview. He stood up for his freshman.

The foul call on the DSE tip in was a bad call...that was an awesome hustle play by DSE
The charge call wasn't all that bad of a call...Moran did sell it once DSE turned the corner and put his shoulder into him...but on the road, that is going to get called a charge 95% of the time...

Yeah but at home we don't get 95% of those calls I don't think. I don't want to talk too much about the refs, but they were bad tonight. Almost felt like the league, don't let the almost top 25 team get upset, fix was in.

Anyway, never mentioning that again, this is a team I can feel less conflicted supporting. It was a loss, and I don't really believe in good losses, but they just gutted it out against a very tough team. That kind of effort will see us kicking the crap out of a lot of teams. Come on, Bradley, give me that effort for the rest of the season!

The rule is : If there is .3 or less on the clock you can NOT catch and shoot. It must be a tip for the try to be ruled good. At .3 ,if it is a catch and shoot and the horn hasn't sounded by the release it will still be waved off as not a shot. This is because of the reaction time of the timer starting the clock. This rule takes alot of pressure of a timer. The easy way to remember the rule is .3 or less MUST be a tip. Can NOT be a catch. Now the only judgement by the officials is whether it is a catch or not and that normally is pretty easy.

bad calls happen - we still need to make a few of those close-in shots earlier but the one on DSE on the basket was a difference maker

It was obvious given the fact that Sanzere, Pollard, and Wymer were all given the game...

I'm not sure we'll end up with a crew collectively that bad the rest of the year.

Sanzere and Pollard are as bad as they come... not sure who Wymer is... I assume you didn't mean Welmer did you? (the tall balding ref that always pulls his pants up)... Because Welmer is really good...

Tip was a real bad call.

The charge not good but from where Sanzere called it DSE did extend his arm, problem was Moran was already going down to the floor.

I am curious though when did palming the ball or carrying it become a non rule. Their point guard all night long craddled the ball especailly with his right hand.

We also got a foul called on us when I think it was Koch went to the rim, scored and I believe it was Brown was called for a foul. On the replay he was not touched by the 3 BU players near him.

Refs didnt lose this one, going a long stretch not scoring in the 2nd half lost this one, we had how many scoring opportunities that we missed in the mid part of the second half.

Id really like to see AW on nights were he cant make a shot, take it to the rim and stop forcing 3's.

The way I've always determined if i dislike an official especially in baseball too is if I remember they're name. If they're awful I remember their name if not who cares. Angel Hernandez in baseball and Pollard and Sanzere in hoops. Those are my 3

I am not sure who the foul was called on but it should have been Singh got him from behind with his body. I think he hit him across the back of his head as well... pretty sure I saw the ref motion that was the foul when he called it- could be wrong though...

I didnt type that one very well. 3 players allowing 1 guy to get to the rim between them score and we get a soft foul on us. If your going to foul at the rim foul hard and dont be passive.... all 3 of those players in that play allowed him to the rim with little resistance. Whoever it was on it was soft.

Yes he made that call and the biggest problem I had with the call is he made it from 30 ft. out and the officials that were closest to the play did not see a foul, the announcers also said it was very questionable which translated means very bad.

Isn't one of the things officials look for in that situation is the lowering of the shoulder? DSE did that, and that's probably why the call was made.
