Why am I back?? Are you serious? Tell me exactly where else is there to go. If another all bradley site pops up that has good information and the good posters that this site has but has different views on how to moderate I would switch in a heartbeat. Tell me exactly where you would go? I'm curious. I'm not opposed to information here..I'm not opposed to the posters...I'm still a bradley fan...heck for the most part I'm not even opposed to what the mods do. Every so often though, interesting things come up that just make me think that this is sad.

If you are saying that it is OK to change posts, or rig polls I would disagree. Neither of those have been proven to be done. That would be over the line in my mind though.

The former has indeed been proven...and that is what I have been saying. That is why this poll rigging needs to be figured out.

To the mods: I'm putting faith into the board once more and I want to have a legitimate explanation this time rather than a tap dance around what actually happened. Come through for me and prove me wrong. I would gladly eat crow on this. Actually, I'm hoping to eat crow.

The "proof" you refer to consists of forgeries by people who would like to discredit this site.

note this is not a new thing, as a small handful of people have tried to cause havoc signing up under phony names before...and they even brag about it on other web sites, boasting of their hate for this site and certain Bradley fans.
Suspicion has to lie with those who have literally vowed to do just what they are doing.

As I said in the other thread- the poll-rigging was definitely an outside hack job. What reason? I can't answer- but like it was said, hackers like to admire and brag about their work, maybe like a graffiti artist "tagging" a wall with their signature. There are examples of this type of hacking all over the internet. I just got an expert in vBulletin to look at it and tell us if we are vulnerable to more attacks. They agree it was a hacker, and they think the upgrade will solve this. It would have been harder to do it by hacking a moderator's account, because the only mods with the ability to access the administration panel require a second password for higher security, but I really don't know
Trying to track down the IP address is useless, since they used some technology to hide the IP address. I am still trying to get an answer how that can be done.

But I highly doubt they signed up in 2006, stopped all posting of any kind in 2007, and then waited for this precise moment to do their deed.

Those of us who have been around for along time just want to get to the bottom of this. If there's ways we can help, let us know. Several have already come forward and offered. Why not get in touch with them?

This is a private site and none of us are asked to pay for anything to use it. The only cost to us is following the rules. Yes, iI have noticed some posts of mine get deleted for whatever reason but I, personally, don't feel offended by that as it is the moderators site and they make the decisions.
This is one of the best message boards anywhere. I am sure some won't agree w/ that but check out others and see for yourselves, also 1 of most active college boards going anywhere.

I agree....many such popular sites are either loaded with ads and popups or are premium sites....
anyone who isn't happy with what they get at BradleyFans or if you think you don't get your money's worth, then ask for a full refund and go elsewhere
