Next game- BU at Northern Iowa, Tuesday, Jan. 12 at 8:00 pm
Are you kidding me? Out coached? Never!!! JL is one a heck of a coach. Look how hard he had BU playing tonight, and, they never gave up...We out rebounded em. A good coach sets adjusts as the season goes along and JL has!! He adjusted the team goal from just winning, to, playing as hard as they can and living with the results. Brilliant move so as to not lose the team as the L's mount. Look at the progress with his players - AT, CR, EM and TB stand out. And SS only had 3 moving screens tonight..IMPROVEMENT!
I just don't know how you can say BU is out coached? Well, maybe on the floor and in recruiting, but definitely NOT in fund raising, schmoozing big buck backers, looking boyishly good looking, yucking it up with alumni, helping all the over 40 BU alums re-live their youth from his exploits in the 80's with his team mates.
BU doesn't have anyone in the BB program in jail, and graduation rates are up! You know you can't have everything, you negative nelly, JL hater, non real BU fan. JL has never missed a shot/ft, turned the ball over, or played soft D as coach. I'm sure he made adjustments at half, the players waited to execute so the second half would be much more exciting as BU came back before coming up short. ESPN ratings must have been sky high down the stretch!
Besides, JL has all the backing he needs to stay forever. Would you just get on board and look forward to next year (or next decade)? Besides, change is not good for BU, look at all the nasty things that could happen if BU were to change coaches next year...You're cutting a legend off at the legs!
Remember, you can fool all the people some of the time, and apparently 75% of the posters on this forum all the time.
