    That would be nice.

We are commercialized and sponsored to the point that it kills the atmosphere. I for one, am not upset if I dont have to watch a video and some cheesy tiemout performance. Let the band play

Yeah I don't like the replays during the game. They're weird, and invariably come when they make no sense. Maybe during halftime and in the pregame, but the replays should go. Maybe when the mythical new screen of doom arrives, I'll like them better, but I don't think so.

I was thinking about this today, and realized my perception would change pretty dramatically. Right now, I think of them as a 6 or 7 seed for St Louis. If they win these two games, I could see them finishing in the top three.
Of course it would change my opinion in a positive way! We are what we are in terms of talent. This team is lacking a true 5 and against UNI that will really hurt us. We also need either AW or TB to step up and develop a killer instinct. We had IndSU on the ropes in the 1st 1/2. We could have had a much bigger lead then 15 and yet we were lucky that it was 15. Go figure. SM has the heart and drive but not the physical makeup to purely take this team through rough patches on his own. AW and TB do have the makeup.

Also TB is only a Sophmore and once he learns how to be agressive and when he can be that guy, I'm just not sure if it wil be this year. AW has the capability but he has always been a bit reluctant to try and take things over for a full game.

I know fans are important to how a team "feels" but I think there are limits as to what to expect out of fans.
you're right....blowing double-digit leads night after night doesn't make it any easier. Last night I started "cheering" more out of anger than anything. My cheers were basically saying get your heads out of your a$$es and start playin' ball. I, like everyone else, was p***ed off and was sick of BU blowing big leads with very little resistance. I guess I figured if BU is going to go down again then I am going down kicking and screaming.

Had BU lost I probably wouldn't even be typing this but the way the fans rallied and the team responded gave me a glimmer of hope.

Is this the team coming out lethargic or is it a game plan by the coaching staff? The consistency is that it has happened every game for the last 3 or 4 games. Almost like it is a planned approach.

Don't let them in the locker room...

Understanding that we have double digit halftime leads all the time, tell them that simply isn't good enough and that they need to play BETTER in the 2nd half...

I agree. Weird is exactly the word. If they must be shown, pre game or halftime is the right time.

Tom Richardson tried that at ISU a few years back and it didn't work too well. I'm not saying I am opposed to it though...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Izzo at mich. st. try that also a few years back?

I was going to start a similar threat myself. I would be happy with a split, frankly. But having said that, let's not forget that we still have two games with Evansville and one with Drake left on the schedule. Not to mention two games against an underachieving Creighton team. So, if we can steal a couple of improbably road wins in Springfield, Cedar Falls, Normal, etc., we're gonna be right in the thick of things in spite of our miserable home record.

Of course, same thing could be said for about 4 other teams!

Yeah, but its a much different set of circumstances when you're losing as opposed to us winning by double digits and tanking in the 2nd half...

Richardson did it because he was fed up of the losing and laziness by his players...and like i said, losing...

There is a big difference there...

And yes, Izzo has also done it before...and I have seen football teams do it as well, Illinois just this year did it.
