They don't.....their ticket....their money. They are perfectly welcome to stay and support their team by booing them, just don't stand up to do it.

Nope. Not even close. It's still rsmit84-1; blame-the-fans-0.

Once again no slight to DSE as he is one of my favorites. Like Da Coach said, anybody would be winded after such a layoff. Just wondering how much of the lead disappeared with that line up on the floor. The saddest thing is we won the game and everything is still so bleak. For the fans sake, for the players sake, for JLs sake, I wish we could just start this season over

There is very, very little evidence suggesting we would have beaten BYU or WSU even with TB on the floor. He was on the floor for WCU, Loyola, and SIU, and those are the 3 games that have ruined this season, not the games TB missed.

Ruined the season?! You need to add "so far" to your statement BB.

This season is still VERY young. Most good teams get on a roll at some point and, hopefull, we one will as well. I will, however, agree that it may be a "ruined season" if by the end of January we are still struggling and losing games that we should win.

Also nice job yelling out for SS, EM, JE and a still hobbled DSE to be on the court at the same time for a long stretch in the second half. Worst decision I've seen by the Carver Arena faithful in a long time. Not to mention half of you wouldnt stand up. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. PATHETIC!
I like the "tongue and cheek" tone of the first part of your post, equating the crowd to "bad" coaching even though the crowd and the coaching staff aren't out on the floor actually playing the game! I don't know if that was the true intention of your post, but that's the way it comes across to me.

The more serious last part of your post I could not agree with more. I know the crowd is not obligated to stand up, and I don't expect those who can't to do so either, but at least let the ones who want to do so without telling them to sit down! Some fans are so "prim and proper" it's pathetic!

I should have added "Conference Season" to my statement. Besides, at this point, that's all that really matters. It's our only hope

As I said in another thread, or maybe this one I am not sure, if we don't lose another home game this year then last night was a step. 8-1 at home in league play would be darn good. But from what I have seen thus far, I can't see us winning out at home. We're talented enough...but...let's just say I would love nothing more than to be way off on this one. It's happened before!

Thus, the "could" in my post. We really don't KNOW either way.

I don't see it either...Not the way the team is currently playing, but just like you, I would also love to be dead wrong.

I could see us going 8-1 at home at the end of conference play. We seem to have a habit of playing at the level of our competition with the real exception being Iowa St. I think they will all be really close games but I think that Bradley will have a chance to go 8-1 if we can just find ways to finish the games.

I have noticed this as well, and the understanding I can gather from personal experience are three things:

                              a) lack of focus

                              b) lack of mental toughness

                              c) laziness

Right now, I believe we are seeing various combinations of the 3 from just about every player...

The only players I do not see this from right now are Chris Roberts and Jake Eastman.

I would say DSE as well, but he's only been back 1/4 of a game.

I guess I'm lucky because when I'm in town I sit in the front row with no one in front of me, but if I wasn't and there was no reason to be standing I would ask anyone to sit down. I stand and cheer, as does my section, when I have something to cheer about until the other team calls a timeout and oops here comes the announcments, so shut up crowd. I wish the band would play right over them for once. As I said before, the ones who want to stand the whole game should have their own section. Doesn't make you a better fan just because you want to stand the whole game.
What part of illegal don't you understand?
