So frustrated that when the game is that close down the stretch that the crowd is silent. even when the crowd attempted to get into it maybe half the people stood up and cheered. the people be hind me were yelling at me to sit down because i was standing the whole time.

had to vent because it really pissed me off. sad thing is looking at the players twitter pages they noticed as well and are not happy with it.

Once again we did blow a big lead but at least started to show some heart and dug it out.

Ugly but feels good to have another notch in the "W" column!

Can we get a bradleyfans.com section for a game so we can all sit together and take control of the crowd? thoughts?

Maybe I can talk to the new AD about this idea.

Where I was, the crowd really got into it with about 3-4 minutes left...

I had a guy with me who hadn't been to a game since Michigan State and he commented at halftime that he was surprised how quiet it was. When our section started getting pumped at the end of the game, he thought that it was pretty great.

Either way... we know the crowd could all get into it more... and WINS like this will get more people excited. Most posters here will be on their feet and cheering often (except for some of you old fogies ) so lets keep up the WINNING.. I think we can all agree on that!

Got louder near me finally. Tried to do my part but I have to admit in tge second half from 10 minutes to 5 minutes I was quiet with shock. Will taking those two charges got me back in it and I yelled the rest of the game.

I still think my idea to have a club comprised of big fans and local/regional students that would inhabit the student section when the students are gone is a good idea. Sent some emails to prez, ad, coach Les, and searby a couple of years ago. Got a couple of nice replies but nothing substantive. Instead they had a ticket promotion that sort of worked but was poorly advertised and I saw all kinds of people who were walkups and fans of the other team.

I like this idea about getting a bradleyfans section for one game. Can you PM the players twitter pages that you know?

Once again about 100 people got up before the start of overtime and left, most came from section 3 and 2 of lower bowl, who leaves a game when it is going into overtime? ex mayor Ransburg was one of them again. Those people really don"t care whether Bradley wins or not. My section was standing the last 4 minutes of regulation and during the overtime, I think it is important to try and get the fans out of their seats and give our players a home court advantage like it always use to be in the past.

I think most, if not all of those people, go to the concourse level, and watch the rest of the game from there, so they can beat the crowd out when the game is over.

I don't understand it either but the maybe they heard the weather was getting bad or get up early,,,who knows? Fans that leave a game early won't be adding to the noise factor anyway....

I know the weather was bad, but the so called fans that I saw leaving were the same ones that left the SIU game with 4 minutes to go in a close game.

No they don"t as there were only a few people standing where those people exited.

Glad to hear at least half got into it. That definitely helps!

As I stated on the chat tonight, during my days at Bradley during the first three years of the Jim Molinari era, the crowd definitely helped spur the team to several big comebacks, especially during his third season. A lot of that was due to the Molinarmy getting people to stand up during some of the critical points in the game. I'm glad to see there are sections at least were the crowd is trying to get into it. And it did sound fairly loud toward the end of the second half and overtime.

The other half that did not participate obviously has never been to Cubs games!

Why do these people even bother to show up? I don't get it!

I sit in the upper deck behind the basket on the Bradley bench so I get a really good view of people sitting on their hands and not cheering throughout most games and it's just sad. I'm not saying people have got to be a Cameron Crazy on every play but would it hurt to at least clap when we make a good defensive play or make a shot. I'm not even saying you have to stand up and cheer if you're afraid of getting in someone's way. Just try and appreciate the effort. I know this team hasn't made it easy to cheer for them sometimes but they deserve your support. I can see this team is getting better with each outing. It would be nice is the support from the fans can mirror that.
