I guess some people just look at life through different colored glasses. Mine are rose tinted .......... and I bleed Bradley red!

I saw A LOT that I liked in the first half last night just like I saw in the first half against SIU and in the Illinois game. It showed me that this team has the potential to be great. Like you, I saw the negative of the second half. I just choose not to dwell on it. I'd rather focus on the positive (and I don't ever boo....of course, you already knew that). What I saw at the end of the game showed me that this team has character, pride, heart, and the desire to win. I'm expecting big things the rest of the way.

Please, show me where I've "dwell"(ed) on the negative of last night's game. I'll help, you won't find it.

I see the positives of the first half too, but when the negatives of the last four home games have us 1-3 (and all to close to 0-4), the negatives outweigh the positives. Unlike you, some people can't admit there are some negatives to last night.

I have been around basketball as a player or coach for the last 25 years and I watch games through those eyes. There were negatives to last nights games, like there are in almost every game. The lack of focus on D in the 2nd half and the lack of aggression (ie...stopped attacking their zone D) on offense.
But the biggest thing is we did overcome those things in the end to win the game!! That is something we had not done the last 3 games at home. That is a step in the right direction. Now the next step needs to be taken...don't put ourselves in that position! Build the lead, keep the foot on the gas pedal and put teams away, especially at home!
Some see a hopeless end, while others see an endless hope.

If we don't lose another home game this year than it can be considered a step taken. Otherwise I would say it's an anomaly considering what they've done at home all season.
          Onward and Upward!

The "dwell" comment wasn't specifically directed at you. (But if the shoe fits.....) It was directed at all the negative posts and threads that started popping up after the SIU game (and the lack of threads started after last night's win). It just shows many prefer to focus and "dwell" on the negatives than finding the positives.

And, for the record, I pointed out the negatives from the last two games. However, unlike others, I also pointed out the positives that I saw and chose not beat the dead horse any more!

If we had a decent 5 we would have the depth and players to compete with anyone in the Valley. Right now JL has to create a game plan that reduces the effect of that liability. SS was always a 5 minute guy. AT has really hurt us this year IMHO because he has not had the hunger to build himself up to the player he could become. Imagine if AT could hold his own in the paint defensively.

This would be a whole different team IMHO.

If AT doesn't have the hunger, and WE still needs time to recover from his injury (he's doing very well considering, though!), well how much more can a coach do? We need some luck, time and a little soul searching from a few players. Then I think we can turn the corner.
Well I am not going to disagree about what you said about the 5 and WE being a 4. But I must of been at another game last night Because what I saw was us not getting beet inside but piss poor D from our guards and SO, SO MANY WIDE OPEN shots and them making We gave away a 16 point lead in 9 mins. just because we lost our man and let them shot 3's like they were shooting free throws Just horrible D We gutted it out but should not of had to Glad for the win, glad to see DSE back and glad to see SS play some good D and finally put some effort in to his game Also I agree about SS, but maybe if he had not had all his major injuries and in his first 2 year's at that, we maybe singing a different song and seeing a different player
              Just my opinion, guys

I can see that view point as well.
