  • CollegeInsider.com Does a Mid-major All Decade Team

I kinda feel that we've been slighted, and maybe the whole Valley has been as well.........

Bradley has one of the few Mid-major lottery picks, and he didn't do a bad job leading BU to the Sweet 16, yet he is not listed...
the only two Valley players there are Kyle Korver and Nate Funk of Creighton.....and NO King O!
while guys who are so obscure as Keith McLeod, Henry Domercant, and Timmy Smith make the list.
I also guess they don't consider guys from Gonzaga (Adam Morrison) and Memphis (Derrick Rose) as mid-majors?

Don't really have a problem with POB not being on the list. He really came on strong at the end of the 2006 season, but that was a short period of time. Korver and Funk both had outstanding 4 year careers and IMO are pretty good representatives for the Valley on this list.
Some see a hopeless end, while others see an endless hope.

I'd go with Kent Williams or Darren Brooks of SIU before Nate Funk. The Williams/Korver matchups brought the Valley back.

but take a look at that list and see that 6 of the players listed were 2-year (or less) players and one only played a single season...
and almost another dozen or so played 3 years.........so literally half that list played no more than or little more than POB did, considering he was a starter right from his first freshman game.
So if only playing two years eliminates POB from consideration, then I am puzzled why half the list are guys with little more productivity in their college years and quite a few never got the tiniest sniff from the pros.........

The list wasn't made by who made it to the pros is it?

And POB is hardly tearing up the NBA- let alone making an impact. It is a pretty good list IMO- but what do I know...

It's an opinion that one or a number of people put together- and so it is doing what it is designed to do- get people talking...

Everything doesn't have to be dissected over and over when we don't agree with it....
???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

agree....I would take him and I can think of about 12 MVC guys who I believe I'd take ahead of half the others on that list...

I was just saying why I don't have a problem with POB not making the list.

I agree that Curry would have been a good selection though.

Agreed............... And not many have put up better numbers or created more excitement for a mid-major program than Curry.
