Anyone know what he's up to these days? I know he stepped down from the head coaching spot at New Trier after the 2008 season, and was 'looking for a new challenge', but haven't heard anything since then. He would be a GREAT addition to this staff next year with his BU ties, Chicago recruiting connections, and most importantly, coaching experience. He would be an ideal fit for that Chuck Buescher role that we've struggled to fill since he retired.

How about Jake E.'s dad......now THAT would be a coup.
I know I know.....when pigs fly.
Though Kevin Eastman would make a fantastic coach, for these reasons and others, I can assure that he will not be an assistant college coach any time soon.

So, sorry houston, I would advise fans not to pursue this rumor.

I believe Jeff Wilkins has never coached at any level. Simply stated- he is not a coach.

The only person that can issue any "assurances" of coming to BU or not would be Jakes dad...but I agree its not likley to happen THUS the " When pigs fly" notation.

Or are these people one and the same?

Kevin Eastman is so much more qualified to coach than the rest of our staff it's not even funny. There's no chance he would come to BU to be anything other than the head coach. I'm guessing he isn't going to want to leave the comfortable life of an NBA assistant for anything.Onward and Upward!
