What a jerk. Between dancing on the sidelines during a game and birthday hats after last night's game, LeBron is turning into everything I thought he wasn't.

From day 1 he's always wanted to be the center of attention. The throwing of powder is starting to get old. Maybe he's getting competition for attention from the other showboat, Shaq, and needs to step it up a bit. Too bad, because he is such a natural talent he doesn't need to do all this c---.

I actually think he is pretty entertaining... the fake pictures he and his teamates take before the game have me on the ground laughing...

He doesn't show up his opponents by taunting them... he just has fun... and IMO, it is refreshing to see an athlete not care what is "PC" in terms of how you act on the court/field... these are the same reasons I like Chad Ochocinco... he is to have fun...GOD FORBID!!!

How is dancing on the bench during a game not showing up an opponent?

While I agree that alot of what James does is just in fun, the dancing during the game on the baseline is showing up the other team. I also don't mind some of the things that 85 does, but feel that some of the things like trying to "pay off" the ref was a bit over board.

NY is a much bigger market so why not play it for now? I'm sure there will be a bunch more shoes sold in NY then in Cleveland. It was ok for MJ to work in a large market and sell his shoes but let's keep LeBron in a tiny ugly market like Cleveland. He has the right to make as much money as he likes as long as he is not stealing!

Having fun while playing the game is fine and I'm all for it. The thing that irks me is the "look at me" athletes that do all the premeditated stuff on the field / court. It's all about them getting their "face time" on camera. It is especially bad in football where it seems almost every player has to have a "dance" for making a catch or a tackle after every play . I guess I am just more conservative and appreciate the star players that let their play/production do the talking rather than the whole "look at me, look what I did" mentality.
