I was hoping he would make it. -
He's a 6'7 Point Guard so maybe another team will take a chance on him.
Maybe Oklahoma City just wasn't the right fit for him, but you have to wonder if he can really make it in the NBA after the loss of his quickness and agility.
He still has the ball handling and passing skills, but his perimeter defense is weak, and he doesn't have the strength to go down low and battle for rebounds. He really needs to work on his jump shot, and if he can show that he can consistently knock down the 15 foot jump shot, perhaps he could find a some kind of role with a team.
Maybe some time in the NBDL or Europe would help him develop his game a bit and continue to recover. He's got a lot of experience under his belt and he's still only 24, so I don't think it's over for him at this point.Comment
