Some questions---

Why is TB suddenly playing badly, especially after such great performances in Brazil?

Why is SM playing so badly?

Why does AW seem to have lost his intensity & focus after so much promise early in his BU career?

Why is this team so WILDLY inconsistant?

Why do we continue to make 8th grade mental mistakes like no blocking out, poor or illegal picks, "thread the needle" passes, not getting back on defense, etc.?

What REALLY happened to cause Merf to leave so suddenly even without any apparent new job to go to?

What does the term "Coaching Dispute" mean?

Why didn't all the supposed "togetherness" of the Brazil trip take hold?

Is JL stubborn & inflexible and not very willing to listen/consider other viewpoints?

These might all be related to dissension, and all seem to be unprecedented.

This could be a lack of attention to detail in practice, or lack of focus.

What does the term "Coaching Dispute" mean?

I don't know, but it is concerning. Was the split an attempt for Merfeld to separate himself from what was going on here, or an attempt to separate Merfeld from the program? Things like that don't happen overnight, and if they do, that is even more concerning.

Meh. Coachspeak. Everything is better on vacation.

Yes, because he has an ego, as we all do. I'm not sure he's unwilling to listen, rather than just hard to convince he is wrong. There's a difference.

Regarding your comment on practice, Unlike previous BU coaches, JL closes all practices to "outsiders" (BU fans & media) so we'll never really know what is happening in practice.
