Now that non con seasons are wrapping up, time to make more informed predictions as to how the MVC Regular Season will wrap up at the end of Feb 2010...

Predict how the Valley teams will finish the MVC 2009-10 regular season, including their conference W-L records, based on what you have seen so far in the preseason.....

If I remember, I'll put up a jar of cactus jelly to the poster who picks the correct finish for the Valley's conference season. :)

Tie breaker will be most accurate conference W-L record for the team finishing first, then the second place team, then the third place team, etc as needed until the tie is broken.

Need your predictions before the tip off of the first MVC Valley game this month. One prediction only per member please!

There's a better chance of seeing Chicago St. or Prairie View A&M winning the national championship than seeing this happen. But it's a nice thought anyway! :D

I see Bradley finally starting to play to their potential while UNI wins as expected. Wichita St. is this year's "surprise" team, with Missouri St. a close second. SIU, CU and IL St will be fighting for the scraps in the middle, while Drake returns to their familiar position of "cellar dweller" since they have shown me they aren't capable of winning too many games even at home.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that WSU will beat UNI to win the Valley championship, with UNI earning an at-large bid. BU & MSU will head to the NIT while SIU, CU & IL St will head to the CIT/CI.com tourneys.
