The Lady Braves are returning home after a split two game series in Colorado. BU lost 75-58 to Northern Colorado. Then bounced back to beat the Air Force Academy 62-45 in an afternoon contest yesterday in Colorado Springs. The Braves were led in scoring by post player Leah Kassing with 13 points vs Northern Colorado and a career high 15 points from PG Mackenzie Westcott versus AFA. The Lady Braves play at St. Louis on Tue. Dec. 29th. They will not return home until Jan. 7th when they open up the VALLEY season with a 705 tip against Evansville at the LORAM Gymnasium. The Lady Braves improve to 3-6 with the win over the Air Force Academy and have beaten them the past 2 contests.

I've really had trouble following them since they went to ICC for home games. When they get into their new arena I'll have to see if I can pay better attention. Looks like this season isn't going so well...

They are very young and their best shooter has not been with the team with personal issues. When they had their FULL team in the exhibition season they looked GREAT! You can tell that there are pieces that are missing to the puzzle, but they have great post play, it is just that their guards are REAL YOUNG. Come on and check them out at the LORAM.
