  • OK BU Fanatics, Show Me How BU Will Not Finish 6th in Valley

Ok all you BU Kool Aid drinkers, after watching BU stink up the place in the second half tonight vs Loyola, please make your best arguments as to how BU will finish any better than 6th in the Valley this year..

I just don't think this team is as good as we all hoped, prayed, and apparently hallucinated for. In fact, other than the Illini game, BU hasn't impressed me much at all...

Please show which games BU will win in the Valley to reach/exceed 10 W's in the Valley this year....to avoid 6th place....

Given what's happening tonight, 6th seems too optimistic...7th or 8th is more realistic based on just tonight.

We just lost DSE. Kind of expected to struggle right after that, no?

No....Good teams have other players step up...the loss was due to poor d, poor free throw shooting, and unbelievable turn overs by senior players....

        Pathetic showing by BU tonight...

We don't stink. All the other teams are just better, make less mistakes, have better coaches and want to win more

6th? Try 8th. Don't give me the DSE line either. We are a terrible team that looks uncoached on both ends of the floor.

But Loyola has a top 50 RPI...they are awesome...this loss isn't bad. Let's hope we don't hear any of that nonsense, as Loyola is closer to a 200 team than a 50 team.

Huh. You'd think losing to Western Carolina by giving up a 10 pt lead in the 2nd half would have taught this team something.

Losing DSE is not an excuse. I do think 6th place is optimistic when you give up two of thos non-conference games on your HOME court.

                That was just pathetic.

6-3 at home, 3-6 on the road, 9-9 in the Valley....

TAS - what do you think is going to change with BU from what we are seeing?

All of a sudden they will start rebounding like Ben Wallace, shooting like Kobe, shooting free throws like Blake Ahearn?? This is not a young team like Drake...

Just think... Now Loyola has Braggin' Rights as the best team in Illinois.

I didn't say nothin'. I just started panicking and provided a visual illustration of it.

Not to be rude or disrespectful. But in all honesty, no.

We did have someone else step up. I believe he made four straight shots and then was promptly shown the bench for most of the remainder of the game!

Timeouts and substitutions still make no sense to me!
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12
