  • Springfield's SportsRadio1450 High School Shootout...

This is a little early to talk about this, but Tornado's post about Rayvante Rice in another thread reminded me of this.

Springfield's SportsRadio 1450 is putting together a pretty nice showcase of local and statewide high school basketball teams and players on Saturday January 9th.

    Here is the link:

    Here are the games:
    11:00am Bloomington vs. Rich South

12:30pm New Creations Prep Academy (of Richmond, IN) vs. Brehm Prep Academy of Carbondale

2:00pm Sacred Heart Griffin vs. Bartonville-Limestone

3:30pm Chicago Leo vs. Peoria Notre Dame

    5:00pm Lanphier vs. Champaign Centennial

    6:30pm Bolingbrook vs. Peoria Central

    8:00pm Southeast vs. Waukegan

Just some of the standouts playing in this game are Jeremy Richmond (ILL), Max Bielfeldt (PND), Karl Madison (Lanpher/Drake), and others that I cannot remember... I am sure someone else can help complete the list...

Come spend the day in Springfield and see alot of high school basketball talent all in the same day! Tickets are only $7 in advance and $10 the day of the event... cant beat that for 7 games!

IMO... Bielfeldt is only going to be good at the high school level. To slow with a body that doesnt make it at the next level unless your extremely athletic.
Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.

I saw he was held scoreless by Glenbrook over the weekend. Is there more to the story, possible sickness, injury, etc.?
