They have open GYMS everyday he has seen him play by now. He does not have a grade problem he was at to many high schools which put up a red flag to the NCAA.

If he didn't have a grade problem, he'd be at BU. Just because you went to too many high schools doesn't automatically make you ineligible for college. It does raise a red flag, and does scrutinize your academic record, but if you have the grades, test scores, and required classes, you'll play. Not taking real classes, not passing real classes, and not passing college entrance exams does however make you inelgible for college. At least one of those was going to happen to XC, otherwise he'd still be at BU. Thank Xavier Crawford and the Boys to Men Academy for that.

If XC left and he did have the grades, he screwed BU around for a year, is looking to go elsewhere, and I don't want him. I don't think that is the case though.

I was told from someone in the program that grades and test scores were not the problem but the schools he went to were the problem.

I'm not discrediting what you or they are saying, but I think it is more complex than what you're saying. The legitimacy of the classes and test scores XC took are the issue. He took those classes at the multiple prep school/basketball factories he went to, so in a sense your person is correct. It comes back to the classes though. If the classes were legit, it wouldn't matter where he took them or how many places he went. He's going to a JUCO for a reason.

exactly. and unless he gets his grades at the juco level he will never play for us.

IMO, he's never going to play for us even if he does get his grades up.

X is doing fine- He has a lot of work to do but is working hard. Im not sure about the whole going to different school thing but I know he needed a "B" in one class and fell just short. He is a great young man and Im sure will work hard to get where he needs to be. He knows this is his last chance-so to speak.I definetly think he needed a year or two of JC before being a solid contributor at your level. He is very thin and needs much work in the weight room.Feel free to email me about his progress throughout the season and keep in touch. You know Ill be watching the Braves again with Zach and wish you the best.

                      Thanks for your input, COACHCORN.
I hope to see XC do every bit as well for you at Yuba as Zach & Boogie did, maybe even see him on the ESPN play of the day!
We wish nothing but the best for Xavier, and if his abilities can still get him a D-I scholarship, then that'll be great.
I hope the plan is for him to get back to BU and still have one year to play together with his friend Ray Brown.

Needed a 'B'? Must have been an overall GPA thing. A 'C' is still passing.

I wish X the best as well. I hope he can get his head screwed on straight and make something out of his basketball career. I think he's in good hands with Coach Corn. Whether he has a future with BU remains to be seen.
