DivI Transfers a Melting Pot - Top 10 by G parrish of CBSspo
The stories about the guys who "got into fights" really downplays the truth. Giddens reportedly started the fight at the bar in Kansas, then was present when Aaron Johnson got into the bar fight in Albuquerque, but the only penalty he got was for pleading guilty to misdemeanor battery and a year of probation.
Johnson was also charged with assault on a police officer for punching out a couple cops, but of course got off with a very light sentence, just 364 days of UNSUPERVISED PROBATION!
Geez---people with jaywalking offenses get more than this!
Lastly, the comments by Micah Downs' father must be amended to show that Micah and his father had gone through a severe dispute and that they aren't speaking to each other, and haven't spoken in several months.
If that's the case, then I wonder just how Mr. Downs senior can possibly have any idea what went on at KU between Micah and Coach Self, if he was totally out of the loop.
