  • Salley injured???

I saw Matt walking just now on campus with a big ice pack on his left knee, and there a lil limp in his step. Does anyone know if this is serious or something that shouldnt be a major concern.

If you only knew how often D-I athletes used ice packs....

well i do understand that its really often, i play on the hockey team myself and have played sports all my life, but it was the limp coupled with the icepack that worried me. I am probably just being paranoid, but with our recent luck and lack of front court depth i'm just bracing for the worst

I apply ice packs and alternate with a heating pad after hard runs. I have been seen slow and favoring a leg due to a long or hard run.

          Ice packs and a limp?

I say - Salley, welcome to DivI.

          Get used to it.

          Get well.

We would have heard if he was injured. He was doing all of the conditioning drills with the rest of the team last I heard.

I don't think the coaches have seen him play yet, either.

Bradley needs him to play a lot this year. We'll find out soon.

Barring something drastic and unforeseen, a starting spot is his to lose.

Just a question........wouldn't Sally be a back-up to ZA at least until SS comes back...............who else would play center?

I don't think so. I think you'll see both Salley and Andrews in the starting lineup.

If there ever has been a year JL needs to play almost everyone, this will be it. I burn a slow burn every time I think about Ray B. ONE more fresh body we won't have when we really need it....argh.
