Bobby Cremins and a team that beat UNC coming to Peoria to play another team that's slayed several giants in recent years would be a great storyline for TV. Give me C of C!

My latest projected projections:
ESPN2
1) Old Dominion @ Northern Iowa (CAA #1 vs. MVC #1) - You might as well pencil this one in at this point
2) Siena @ Butler (MAAC #1 vs. Horizon #1) - Ditto this one. Quite frankly, they're the 4 stalwarths of the competition
3) William & Mary @ Iona (CAA #4 vs. MAAC #2) - With W&M slipping in the CAA and Iona rising in the MAAC, I think this game makes more sense now than the WMU-MizzouSt game I've been projecting all along
4) Louisiana Tech @ VCU (WAC #1 vs. CAA #2) - Here's me predicting VCU will get themselves past GMU and N'eastern in the next month. And it's time to take LT seriously, finally
5) Wichita St @ Utah St (MVC #2 vs. WAC #2) - Someone has to go out west, unfortunately for WSU, they're 5th in a BracketBuster with 4 marquee teams
ESPNU
6) Charleston @ Bradley (SoCon #1 vs. MVC #3) - Almost went with Kent St or Northeastern here instead of Bradley, could swing any number of ways
7) Nevada @ Pacific (WAC #3 vs. Big West #1) - With Nevada slipping in the WAC they lose priority
8 )Western Carolina @ Kent St (SoCon #2 vs. MAC #1) - MAC #1 deserves better than this, probably
9) Morgan St @ Murray St (MEAC #1 vs. OVC #1) - No at large impact, so give the conference leaders a TV game
10) Buffalo @ Northeastern (MAC #2 vs. CAA #5) - Northeastern should drop a bit in the standings and RPI
11) Fairfield @ George Mason (MAAC #3 vs. CAA #3) - Self-explanatory
ESPN360
12) Akron @ Green Bay (MAC #3 vs. Horizon #2) - This means only 1 Horizon on TV. I want to find a spot for UWGB above, but where? Maybe N'eastern if they slip
13) New Mexico St @ Missouri St (WAC #4 vs. MVC #4) - This is clearly very low for the #4 MVC team, but tell me who you'd bump ahead of them
No TV notables
Home
Illinois St (MVC #5)
Creighton (MVC #6)
Radford (Big South #1)
Vermont (AEast #1)
Away
Indiana St (MVC #7)
Western Michigan (MAC #4)
Once again, the home/road imbalance comes into play.
As for the MVC only getting 3 on TV, that'll change. I just don't think anyone knows who'll be in the top half of the standings at this point.

Had we not lost those home games, we might be getting a rematch with ODU.
Gotta split at minimum this week to get that TV game...
I like Charleston too. But the more I think about it, with our RPI in the 70s, some away bubble team will need a team with stronger computer numbers. Therefore, I wouldn't be surprised if William & Mary tries to slip into our slot. Or Louisiana Tech. Many possibilites are in play. Or it could be a Nevada team looking for a solid return game.
There are many quality non-local options this year. Get it done, Les.

Side story is developing: What the heck is ESPN going to do with the CAA?
William & Mary are the media darlings
VCU was the preseason favorite, which means ESPN's radar was on them the most
Northeastern has the computer numbers
Old Dominion has the best overall profile
George Mason actually leads the conference
All 5 are making TV, it looks like, but the pecking order is going to be a disaster. Someone is going to get hurt by BB here.

I was thinking sorta the same thing on my way home tonight.
Coll of Charleston just slipped out of our grasp a little. But we do play 2 more games before the BB Committee pretty much decides who's gonna be playing who on tv.
So what does this loss to Creighton mean?
Like you said - Someone is gonna get hurt by playing Bradley in the BB... if they are looking for a good "RPI Road Win".
I'll run the numbers again tomorrow morning and post maybe around the noon hour (Palm's RPI doesn't update til tomorrow morning).

The danger here is simple: BU/ISU may become a BB play-in game. The loser misses BB. Creighton could be one win away this weekend from jumping BOTH BU and ISU, RPI be darned.
