Stories are updated thruout the day and almost all the stories are posted the night before.

Yes that's true, they don't publish the whole newspaper online but just bits and portions of it. If they did decide to charge a subscription, then they would have to put it all online. I like to read most of the crime news, so i'm happy with the amount that's published lol. A lot better coverage on crime than most cities cover.

I am amused by this...
it is a long discussion by the Illini fans about Bill Liesse getting laid off at PJS...and there are numerous
posters who praise and shower love on Bill Liesse......but who seem to forget that some of the columns Liesse has written were a bit negative and embarrassing to the Illini...
First - he wrote the one about Eric Gordon being a "steaming pile of.."
then had to issue an apology...
also, he wrote the false allegation that Bruce Weber ticked off all the Chicago power-brokers by using racial insults...
In the spring of 2007 it was alleged that Weber angered the Chicago HS coaches by using the N-word. He also criticized Bruce Weber for missing out on many good Chicago/Illinois recruits like Patrick Beverley, Julian Wright, Jon Scheyer, etc...
And he insulted Illinois fans who believed Jamar Smith had to go and claimed the publicity over the Jamar case was "out of whack" -
Then he cited quotes from Jamar's grandfather, that only served to embarrass the university over its handling of the issue.
