This is great news. I have known Jim and his family for over 30 years. When Jim first got out of college he wanted to officiate Basketball. We use to take Jim with us on the out of town games and he would work the prelims for us. He had a future in officiating if he would have stayed in Peoria. Congrats Jim a WELL DESERVED honor. I worked with Jim in radio for a couple of years- good guy- and I just happen to be a Reds fan, too!
