Great second half & bad first half. Coaches did a very good job at halftime.
A quality win.

Good points: DSEs play was outstanding. He should get more minutes.

CRs emergence as a defensive stopper a la David Thirdkill. This will be a teriffic help to us as the year goes on.

AW played much better---Hope he is getting the bugs out of his game by the time the MVC season arrives!

Bad points: EM---more of the same. He didn't help us. How much longer can this go on?

Offensive rebounding stinks. We still need to go to the offensive boards much harder, block out, and not have our bigs playing out so much so that we give their bigs inside position.

Passing is sometimes still suspect.

However, overall a very good game.We are getting better now.

wiz-- one thing I noted...
when any team shoots really bad, bad long shots, it creates the opportunity for more than usual LONG rebounds, thus they grabbed more offensive rebounds on that basis...
in the end, did it really help them??

nope...their 14 offensive rebounds to our 6 obviously didn't help at all...

NIU had to be one of the worst 3 point shooting team we have played in quite sometime, 1 for 20 and most of them just about broke glass, it is hard to rebound in a game like this when the shot hits so hard which in turn makes it bound all over the place.
