IN a game between EIU & Tennessee State last night (EIU won 83-81 in triple OT)
a kid that Bradley looked at had a nice game...
Robert Covington, from Proviso West, a freshman at Tenn St. had 17 pts, 3 reb.
He is now averaging 10.4 ppg, 4.3 rpg as a freshman....nice numbers...


In the Morehead St. win over Tenn-Martin, Kenneth Faried had 19 pts 18 rebs..bringing his averages to 19.2 ppg and 13.7 rpg...
USC loses again, scoring only 50...the 2nd game in a row of 50 or less..
CSU Northridge played their 7th game and Xavier Crawford hasn't play yet in any of them. He is still listed on their roster, but
in their "Weekly Release" that updates all the team news, they have bios on every player on the roster except XC, suggesting he's gone..

Robert Covington, from Proviso West, a freshman at Tenn St. ...

Robert Covington, a kid from Proviso West, that I know Bradley looked at (during some summer events in 2008 ) but passed on since we had TB, MK, and JP...went to Tennessee State and the kid is doing great in his freshman year!

He continues to occasionally put up huge numbers...19 pts/8 rebs in a loss to Murray State

He is averaging 10 ppg, 6 rpg...and even hits 38% of 3's (26-69)

BUT -- there's more news today at Tennessee State...they just dismissed four players, including their top scorer and 5th leading scorer/2nd leading rebounder.

The four players dismissed account for about 1/3 of all minutes played this season, so obviously Robert is gonna have an excellent opportunity to play a whole lot!!
